We are seeking a <b>Veeva CoE Leader</b> to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across our digital R&D platforms. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor multiple pods/teams, promote innovation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards—all while contributing to Sanofi’s mission of delivering life-changing therapies and vaccines to patients worldwide.</span></p><p></p><p><span><b>Key Responsibilities</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Managing Veeva platform-specific configurations and governance</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensuring compliance with GxP requirements where applicable</span></p></li><li><p><span>Coordinating with Technical Service Owners and Business System Owners</span></p></li><li><p><span>Managing Key Users and training programs</span></p></li><li><p><span>Overseeing Veeva documentation management processes</span></p></li><li><p><span>Looking after Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, Issue Management.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Continuous support for the ongoing projects, migrations, generic releases and minor releases – hypercare process setup, hypercare meetings, trackers reporting, governance.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Managing and leading a group of support team members (vendors/contractors). Mentor and support junior configuration engineers and DevOps specialists, promoting a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assess and manage the impact of Veeva product releases (three times per year); plan and orchestrate remediation and upgrade activities with cross-functional teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner closely with Product Line Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to define configuration strategy and ensure regulatory and compliance alignment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Oversee the documentation of system designs, configurations, and technical decisions using JIRA, Confluence, and validated repositories.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure adherence to GxP regulation, and Data Integrity standards across all deliverables.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with Veeva and strategic partners to leverage best practices and emerging features within the Vault suite.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive continuous improvement initiatives around configuration governance, automation, and operational efficiency.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide expert support for critical incidents and major platform changes in partnership with AIMS and Service Management teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Define and drive functional strategies across their domain.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work closely with senior business leaders to advise and influence strategic matters.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Set global strategy and design global solutions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Provide functional domain expertise to solve complex business challenges</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build capabilities and share best practices across the organization</span></p></li><li><p><span>Continuously monitor market evolution and screen external trends</span></p></li><li><p><span>Own, design, and govern COE-specific processes. Work upon implementation of global strategies within COE.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead a team of 30+ internal and external Veeva Resources</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage R&D Veeva Budget including license cost to the tune of 80 Mn</span></p></li></ul><p><span><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.</span></p></li><li><p><span>18+ years of progressive experience in Veeva Vault configuration and administration within regulated (GxP) environments with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership and delivery management role.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Veeva Certification in one or more Vault applications is mandatory (e.g., RIM, Quality, Clinical, Commercial).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven expertise in Vault configuration components (lifecycle, objects, workflows, security models, and SDKs).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, release management, and change control processes.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery models and collaborating with cross-functional teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills with a consultative mindset.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to lead complex technical discussions and influence decisions across senior technical and business audiences.</span></p></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1>Pursue <i>progress</i>, discover <i>extraordinary</i></h1><p>Better is out there.
