<p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p><p></p><p>As a Test Automation Engineer within Sanofi&#39;s Global Digital R&amp;D Software Engineering team, you will support the development and execution of automated test solutions that ensure the quality and reliability of Sanofi&#39;s digital products. Working within an Agile squad under the guidance of senior engineers, you will build foundational skills in test automation while contributing to the team&#39;s quality objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to grow their expertise in test automation within a global healthcare technology environment.</p><p></p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p></p><p>Test Automation Support</p><p>• Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts for functional and regression testing using established frameworks and patterns</p><p>• Execute automated test suites and report results to the team, escalating issues as needed</p><p>• Support the maintenance of existing automation frameworks under senior guidance</p><p>• Assist in test environment setup and test data preparation activities</p><p>• Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to test planning discussions</p><p></p><p>Quality Assurance Activities</p><p>• Work with developers and senior QA engineers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria</p><p>• Document and track defects clearly, following established processes and templates</p><p>• Support manual testing activities when automation coverage is not yet available</p><p>• Assist in the validation of bug fixes and feature implementations</p><p>• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation</p><p></p><p>Learning &amp; Development</p><p>• Actively learn test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices relevant to the team&#39;s technology stack</p><p>• Participate in code reviews for test scripts, focusing on learning and applying feedback</p><p>• Engage in training sessions, internal workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities</p><p>• Follow Sanofi&#39;s coding standards, security guidelines, and quality processes</p><p>• Seek mentorship from senior team members to accelerate skill development</p><p></p><p>Team Collaboration</p><p>• Work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum team, participating in daily stand-ups and sprint activities</p><p>• Communicate progress, challenges, and learning needs clearly to team leads and managers</p><p>• Support team documentation efforts and knowledge base maintenance</p><p>• Assist with onboarding activities for new team members</p><p></p><p>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; PROFICIENCY</p><p></p><p><b>Technical Skills:</b></p><p>• Applications Delivery: Intermediate</p><p>• DevOps: Intermediate</p><p>• Software Design: Beginner</p><p>• Cloud Engineering: Intermediate</p><p></p><p><b>Functional Skills:</b></p><p>• Cybersecurity: Beginner</p><p>• Continued Learning: Intermediate</p><p></p><p><b>Transversal Skills:</b></p><p>• Quality Mindset: Intermediate</p><p>• Innovation: Intermediate</p><p>• Communication: Intermediate</p><p></p><p><b>Other Skills:</b></p><p>• Software Engineering: Intermediate</p><p>• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Beginner</p><p></p><p>TECHNICAL EXPERTISE</p><p>• Test Automation Frameworks: Basic familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools</p><p>• Programming Languages: Foundational knowledge of Python, Java, or JavaScript</p><p>• API Testing: Basic understanding of REST APIs and testing tools like Postman</p><p>• CI/CD Tools: Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms</p><p>• Cloud Platforms: Basic awareness of AWS, Azure, or GCP concepts</p><p>• Version Control: Working knowledge of Git and version control practices</p><p>• Test Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools</p><p>• Agile/Scrum: Understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies</p><p>• Testing Fundamentals: Strong foundation in software testing principles and methodologies</p><p></p><p>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE</p><p>• Education: Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field</p><p>• Experience: 3&#43; years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related technical roles</p><p>• Basic programming experience and willingness to develop automation skills</p><p>• Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing principles</p><p>• Experience with or exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies</p><p>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p><p>• Pharma/Life Sciences experience is a plus but not required</p><p></p><p>BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES</p><p>• Aim Higher: Demonstrates eagerness to learn and grow technical skills; shows initiative in taking on new challenges</p><p>• Act for Patients: Understands the importance of software quality in healthcare applications</p><p>• Be Bold: Asks questions, seeks feedback, and proposes ideas for improvement</p><p>• Lead Together: Works collaboratively with team members; shares knowledge and supports collective success</p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1>Pursue <i>progress</i>, discover <i>extraordinary</i></h1><p>Better is out there.
