If you are excited about a role but don&#39;t meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p><span>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we&#39;re looking to add a Staff/Sr. Design Validation Engineer (Power PSU/BBU/ESS/PCU) located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site.</span><br /><span>As a Staff/Sr. Design Validation Engineer will perform the responsibility for product design validation in Tier 1 customer&#39;s PSU/BBU/ESS/PCU Projects request.</span><br /><br /><b><span>Here is a glimpse of what you&#39;ll do:</span></b><br /><span>Ideal candidate prefer has deep understanding of Switched-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) and own knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS)/Battery Backup Units (BBU).</span><br /><br /><span>• Key Responsibilities</span><br /><span>1.Test Planning and Strategy Development:</span><br /><span>(1) Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product management, manufacturing)</span><br /><span>(2) Define testing requirements and objectives</span><br /><span>(3) Develop comprehensive test plans (methodologies, resources, timelines, success criteria)</span><br /><span>(4) Identify and implement best practices for testing processes</span><br /><span>2. Test Design and Implementation:</span><br /><span>(1) Design and develop test fixtures, automated test scripts, and setups for SMPS and BMS/BBU systems</span><br /><span>(2) Create detailed test cases and procedures based on specifications and standards</span><br /><span>(3) Ensure calibration and maintenance of all test equipment</span><br /><span>3. Execution of Testing:</span><br /><span>(1) Conduct various tests (functional, performance, thermal, environmental, safety)</span><br /><span>(2) Perform capacity and cycle testing on battery systems</span><br /><span>(3) Measure and analyze output voltage, current, ripple, and noise levels in SMPS</span><br /><span>4. Data Analysis and Reporting:</span><br /><span>(1) Analyze test results and document findings in detailed reports</span><br /><span>(2) Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement</span><br /><span>(3) Present findings to stakeholders with actionable recommendations</span><br /><span>5. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:</span><br /><span>(1) Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in SMPS and BMS/BBU systems</span><br /><span>(2) Collaborate with design engineers for troubleshooting</span><br /><span>(3) Conduct root cause analysis for failures and implement corrective actions</span><br /><span>(4) Compliance and Standards Adherence:</span><br /><span>-- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO)</span><br /><span>-- Stay updated on changes in standards and incorporate them into practices</span><br /><span>-- Identify opportunities for process improvements</span><br /><span>-- Implement new testing technologies and tools</span><br /><span>6.
