If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a <b>Design Quality Engineer l</b>ocated in Guadalajara, <b>North Campus.</b></p><p>Reporting to the <b>Design Quality Manager </b>the<b> Design Quality Engineer </b>is responsible for develops, implements, coordinates, and performs Design Quality Assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.</p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Lead quality activities throughout NPI, including pilot builds per week when required.</li><li>Collect, research, evaluate, and present information on production capabilities, manufacturing issues, and new product design.</li><li>Develop and update the Design Quality Assurance Program, defining control areas and operational procedures.</li><li>Facilitate and lead cross-functional (CFT) meetings to establish production plans and engineering deliverables.</li><li>Interface directly with customers on technical/quality topics, improvement initiatives, and audits.</li><li>Manage customer audits, internal audits, and compliance/regulatory audits.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions for design and manufacturing issues.</li><li>Interpret control plans, FMEAs, build plans, and develop inspection plans for NPIs.</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers to address component quality and supply chain issues.</li><li>Particpates and mananges the Design Site Corrective Action process.</li><li>Visits and confers with representatives of material and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality.</li><li>Confers with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed, and manufactured products on market to rectify problems.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>BA/BS as an industrial engineer mechatronic, engineer, or similar.</li><li>Experience in a similar position as a Design Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, Program Management, or Supplier Quality.</li><li>Electronic industry experience.
