Deja Tu Huella - Ophthalmology Medical Affairs and Integrated Portfolio Strategy Intern
To be part of a new cohort of the Roche-CEU San Pablo postgraduate degree as an expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry. An 11-month internship at Roche where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry.
You will have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attending in-person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday.
Our main location is Madrid. We are open to applications from all over Spain, but relocation will be needed as part of the program expectations. Office attendance is expected (with some flexibility) to enjoy connection with colleagues, networking opportunities, and exposure to the organization.
Last but not least, you will receive mentorship from a Roche tutor who will provide continuous feedback to support your professional development. The mentors for the program are Roche’s senior and experienced young talent development professionals.
Main responsibilities as an intern:
Collaborate within the iSquad alongside the team’s medical experts on activities related to:
Medical pipeline plans (including vamikibart, satralizumab, PDP, among others).
Congress planning and coordination.
TAE (Thought Leader/Therapy Area Expert) plans.
Local iEP initiatives.
Organization and coordination of medical education events and courses.
Support the coordination of working groups with PJPs and the iSquad team to identify needs and collaborate with regional teams.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the follow-up of strategic medical projects.
Support communication and presentation of project updates within the team environment.
Support the preparation and review of promotional materials.
Collaborate in the organization of events, campaigns, and product launches.
Assist in monitoring digital activities, including web, social media, and e-mailing initiatives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Support departmental administrative activities, including database management and coordination with agencies.
What are we looking for?
Graduates in Life Sciences or Health Sciences (preferred).
Strong scientific background.
Research experience and/or scientific publications are considered a plus.
Previous knowledge or exposure to marketing activities is valued.
Skills: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present project updates in controlled environments. Advanced digital capabilities and interest in innovation.
Competencies : Scientific mindset with analytical thinking. Proactivity and adaptability. Strong learning agility and curiosity. Innovative mindset with interest in improving existing ways of working.
Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of new technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced design tools.
Mindset: Curious and motivated candidates willing to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment. Passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Interest in developing within Medical, Marketing, or cross-functional pharmaceutical roles.
Languages: Advanced communication level in both English and Spanish.
Commitment: Full-time dedication from September 2026 to August 2027.
International students must have a valid NIE or work permit in Spain.
