Deja tu Huella - Medical & Marketing Breast Cancer Intern
What do we offer?
To be part of a new cohort of the Roche-CEU San Pablo postgraduate degree as an expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry. 11 months of internships at Roche where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry.
You will have the opportunity to get on-the-job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attend in person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday.
Our main location is Madrid, we are open to applications from all over Spain but relocation will be needed as part of the program expectations. Office attendance is expected (with some flexibility) to enjoy the connection to our colleagues, network and get exposure.
Last but not least, you will have mentorship by a Roche tutor who will give you continuous feedback to develop your professional skills. The mentors for the program are Roche’s senior and experienced young talent development professionals.

Purpose of this internship?
This internship offers a unique cross-functional experience within the Breast Cancer Squad, combining exposure to both Marketing and Medical Strategy activities.
During the first phase of the internship, the intern will support the implementation and follow-up of marketing strategies and product launches, contributing to tactical planning, competitive intelligence, market insights analysis, and communication activities related to the therapeutic area.
During the second phase, the intern will join the Medical team and contribute to strategic projects focused on clinical trials visibility, medical insights, and post-launch medical support initiatives.
This dual-track experience will provide the intern with a broad understanding of the pharmaceutical business, combining commercial strategy, medical affairs, clinical development, and cross-functional collaboration in a highly innovative environment.
What would be your main responsibilities as an intern?
Phase 1 – Marketing Team
The intern will collaborate in the implementation and follow-up of marketing strategies for the Squad products, including support for product launch activities related to ITOVEBI.
Main responsibilities include:
Supporting the design and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing plans.
Collaborating in launch readiness and follow-up activities for ITOVEBI.
Participating in the development of the therapeutic area narrative and product positioning strategy.
Supporting the preparation, analysis, and communication of market research studies and customer insights.
Collaborating in segmentation plans, competitive intelligence activities, messaging, and promotional resources.
Assisting in the development of promotional and communication materials.
Supporting Squad operational activities such as quarterly priorities planning, budget follow-up, and meeting coordination.
Phase 2 – Medical Team
The intern will contribute to strategic medical projects, with a strong focus on Trial4U, an initiative designed to improve the visibility, analysis, and communication of clinical trial information.
Main responsibilities include:
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of Trial4U.
Preparing quarterly clinical trial reports and data visualization materials.
Collaborating cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and other involved teams.
Supporting the preparation of reports and infographics to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Training and supporting internal teams in the use and interpretation of Trial4U reports and tools.
Collaborating in post-launch medical support activities for ITOVEBI, particularly initiatives related to adverse event management and dose protection strategies.
Supporting the medical strategy for giredestrant and other pipeline molecules.
Collaborating in the collection, consolidation, and analysis of Medical Insights from field interactions and scientific congresses.
What are we looking for in this position?
Recent graduates or university students who will obtain their degree in the summer, preferably in Healthcare Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Technologies, or related fields.
We are looking for proactive, analytical, and collaborative candidates interested in clinical development, product strategy, and innovation within the pharmaceutical industry.
Desired skills and qualifications include:
Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical environment, clinical trials, and product strategies.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
Proactivity, creativity, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability.
Interest in medical strategy, product launches, and healthcare innovation.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Intermediate or advanced level of Office 365 tools.
Familiarity with data analysis and AI tools is desirable.
Advanced level of English and Spanish.
Passion for improving patients’ lives and motivation to contribute in an innovative and challenging environment.
Commitment to dedicate yourself full time to the program from September 2026 to August 2027.
For international students, have a valid NIE or work permit in Spain.
