Job Description
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the global Financial Planning and Analysis calendar, coordinating key deliverables, milestones and dependencies.
· Own month-end close and reporting, resolving errors, late inputs and financial variances across DD&IT.
· Prepare performance dashboards, variance commentary and decision-ready reporting materials for senior leadership.
· Coordinate latest outlook submissions and consolidate financial inputs for monthly business reviews.
· Lead budget and three-year target planning, developing guidance, templates and supporting financial models.
· Monitor financial data quality and partner with data owners to resolve issues promptly.
· Track forecast accuracy, explain deviations and identify financial risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
· Perform robust financial modelling and analysis using large, complex datasets to support business decisions.
· Influence senior Finance and DD&IT leaders to align priorities, assumptions and financial outcomes.
· Lead end-to-end planning and reporting processes while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Essential Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
· Significant Financial Planning and Analysis experience supporting global, matrixed organizations.
· Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial performance analysis.
· Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.
· Experience preparing executive-level presentations and communicating financial insights to senior leaders.
· Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes without formal reporting authority.
· Strong project management skills with experience managing complex deliverables and competing priorities.
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, navigate ambiguity and deliver against demanding deadlines.
Desirable Requirements
· Experience supporting digital, technology or information technology organizations.
· Strong digital and data analysis capabilities, including leveraging technology to improve financial decision-making.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 59,100 – 109,700 EUR
The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
