The role supports HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders by enabling data-driven workforce decisions through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled use cases.</h3><h3>This role partners closely with HR, IT, and People Analytics stakeholders and plays a key role in improving trust in HR data while expanding analytical maturity across the organization.</h3><h3></h3><h3><b>Scope & Impact</b> </h3><ul><li><h3>Leads complex, cross-functional people analytics initiatives with broad business impact.</h3></li><li><h3>Owns data quality strategy, advanced analytics solutions, and automation design for multiple HR domains.</h3></li><li><h3>Acts as a trusted analytics advisor to senior HR and business stakeholders.</h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b> </h3><ul><li><h3>Own and drive the quality, consistency, and governance of personnel data across HR systems and analytics platforms.</h3></li><li><h3>Define and implement data quality frameworks, validation rules, and reconciliation processes to ensure trusted HR data.</h3></li><li><h3>Design, maintain, and evolve scalable workforce data models integrating multiple HR data sources (e.g., HCM, ATS, LMS).</h3></li><li><h3>Lead the development of advanced dashboards and self-service analytics solutions for HRBPs and business leaders.</h3></li><li><h3>Translate complex and ambiguous business and workforce questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights.</h3></li><li><h3>Identify, design, and implement automation solutions to streamline HR reporting, data preparation, and recurring analyses.</h3></li><li><h3>Lead AI-enabled and advanced analytics use cases (e.g., attrition prediction, workforce forecasting, skills and mobility insights).</h3></li><li><h3>Act as a trusted analytics advisor to senior HR and business leaders, influencing decision-making through data storytelling.</h3></li><li><h3>Partner with HR, HRIS, IT, and data governance teams to align analytics solutions with enterprise data architecture and standards.</h3></li><li><h3>Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data scientists or analysts within People Analytics.</h3></li><li><h3>Ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use of employee data in line with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.</h3></li><li><h3>Continuously improve people analytics capabilities, standards, and best practices across the organization.</h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Knowledge, Skills & Experience</b></h3><ul><li><h3>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.</h3></li><li><h3>Typically 4+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or people analytics.</h3></li><li><h3>Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R, including automation and modeling.</h3></li><li><h3>Strong experience with BI tools and data visualization best practices.</h3></li><li><h3>Proven experience applying machine learning or advanced statistical techniques.</h3></li><li><h3>Deep understanding of HR data, governance, and employee data privacy.</h3></li><li><h3>Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.</h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Critical Success Factors</b></h3><ul><li><h3>High trust in HR data through strong quality and governance practices.</h3></li><li><h3>Scalable, automated analytics that reduce manual effort.</h3></li><li><h3>Clear, actionable insights that support workforce decisions.</h3></li><li><h3>Effective collaboration across HR, IT, and business teams.</h3></li><li><h3>Alignment with Thermo Fisher’s values: <b>Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement</b>.</h3></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
