Data and advanced analytics are central to how Amgen accelerates scientific discovery and decision-making across Research &amp; Development.</p><p>DDS is seeking a <b>Manager, Data Analytics</b> based in <b>Amgen India</b> to deliver advanced analytics and data science solutions in close partnership with global R&amp;D stakeholders. This role will report to the <b>US Sr. Mgr Data Analytics</b> and operate as a <b>hands-on individual contributor</b>, with no formal line management responsibilities.</p><p>The successful candidate will apply an analytics-first mindset, independently owning analytical problem solving from concept through implementation, while collaborating closely with onshore DDS leadership, business partners, and IS/DTI teams.</p><div></div><p>Primary Responsibilities</p><h3>Hands-On Analytics &amp; Solution Delivery</h3><ul><li><p>Apply an analytics-first mindset to R&amp;D by designing and delivering advanced analytical solutions using modern statistical, data science, and AI/ML techniques</p></li><li><p>Independently design, build, implement, launch, and maintain analytical solutions aligned to business strategies, goals, and roadmaps</p></li><li><p>Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert for data, analytics, and metrics, providing practical, actionable insights to stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into well-scoped analytical approaches</p></li><li><p>Implement cutting-edge analytics, AI/ML, and automation solutions across R&amp;D use cases</p></li><li><p>Own delivery of key performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products, continuously improving efficiency, quality, and scalability</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Global Collaboration &amp; Delivery Execution</h2><ul><li><p>Collaborate closely with <b>onshore DDS leaders, business partners, and IS/DTI teams</b> to deliver analytics solutions aligned to global DDS standards</p></li><li><p>Establish active communication with teams across functions and geographies to ensure global alignment and consistent delivery</p></li><li><p>Participate in <b>regular working-hour overlap with global stakeholders</b> to support effective collaboration, rapid issue resolution, and delivery transparency</p></li><li><p>Partner with Business Product Owners on requirements gathering, user stories, UAT, deployments, training, and end-user support</p></li></ul><h3></h3><h2>Technical Excellence &amp; Professional Contribution</h2><ul><li><p>Develop deep business domain knowledge to understand stakeholder needs, priorities, and long-term strategy</p></li><li><p>Apply appropriate statistical, predictive, and advanced analytics techniques to answer complex business questions</p></li><li><p>Contribute to team capability building through technical mentoring, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development, without formal people management responsibility</p></li><li><p>Ensure all work adheres to Amgen SOPs, data governance, security, and compliance requirements</p></li></ul><div></div><p>What we expect of you</p><p>We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
