A Day in the Life
We are seeking a dynamic Customer Success Program Manager to support the ACEE region and Capital Teams as it transitions into a customer‑centric, utilization‑driven growth model. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how Medtronic maximizes the value of its capital equipment installations by driving therapy adoption, optimizing utilization, and enabling long‑term customer success. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that hospitals and clinical teams are fully equipped to achieve the best possible outcomes with Medtronic technologies, ultimately accelerating therapy growth and strengthening our strategic impact across the region.Secondary Paragraph
In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams across open surgery, minimally invasive surgery (MIS), and robotics portfolios, ensuring seamless coordination and consistent post‑installation engagement. You will collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to implement customer readiness programs, therapy development plans, and utilization improvement initiatives. The position may require periodic travel within the ACEE region to support customer sites, facilitate training, and align with commercial teams. This role will be essential in ensuring that customer experience, clinical adoption, and utilization optimization are delivered with excellence and consistency.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead post‑installation customer success programs to ensure readiness, adoption, and sustained utilization of Medtronic technologies
- Develop and execute tailored therapy development plans for key accounts, including KOL engagement and clinical capability building
- Coordinate Pan‑Medtronic collaboration across open, MIS, and robotics portfolios to deliver a unified customer experience
- Monitor utilization performance across the installed base and implement targeted interventions to improve therapy adoption
- Support upgrade pathways and service offerings that enhance customer value and accelerate return on investment
- Ensure consistent delivery of training, education, and support programs that strengthen customer skills and clinical outcomes
- Use insights and data to identify barriers to utilization and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Device explanation example: Medtronic Hugo RAS system – a robotic‑assisted surgery platform designed to enhance precision, flexibility, and visualization during minimally invasive procedures.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in customer success, clinical program management, therapy development, or related roles
- Strong understanding of capital equipment lifecycles and post‑installation value drivers
- Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments
- Experience working with clinical teams, including training, education, or adoption programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret utilization data and identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across diverse customer groups
Experience with robotics, MIS, or digital health ecosystems is beneficial, as is familiarity with therapy adoption frameworks. These are not essential but will support faster onboarding.
