The Program Manager is accountable for shaping and leading the global People & Culture (P&C) disclosure strategy within the broader sustainability and external reporting landscape. This role operates at the intersection of regulatory compliance and workforce insights, ensuring that P&C contributes meaningfully to Roche’s sustainability narrative and obligations.

The Program Manager drives cross-functional alignment, influences enterprise decision-making, and ensures the organization remains ahead of evolving regulatory requirements. It requires deep expertise in P&C data ecosystems, sustainability reporting frameworks, and the ability to translate complex regulatory expectations into scalable, future-ready processes.

Your opportunity

You own and define the global P&C disclosure strategy within the enterprise-wide CSRD program, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory expectations and serve as the P&C representative and lead in cross-functional sustainability governance, influencing decision-making at executive level and shaping Roche’s external reporting narrative.

• Lead the identification, assessment, and management of P&C-related impacts, risks, and opportunities in alignment with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

• Define the P&C CSRD sprint backlog and oversee activities across chapters to drive alignment with CSRD requirements.

• Ensure full audit readiness for sustainability disclosures and Annual Report contributions, with ultimate accountability for KPI integrity and transparency.

• Oversee and govern end-to-end audit processes, partnering with senior P&C stakeholders and external auditors to ensure robust documentation, controls, and compliance.

• Chair and evolve the P&C CSRD Data & Strategy Forum as a strategic decision-making body, driving alignment across global teams and resolving complex interdependencies.

• Design and institutionalize enterprise-wide validation frameworks and reporting controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance at scale.

• Provide strategic oversight of historical data and trend analysis, ensuring clear, consistent insight generation for internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as a recognized subject matter expert on ESRS and the broader sustainability regulatory landscape, proactively interpreting emerging requirements and translating them into actionable strategy.

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in P&C sustainability reporting, leveraging digital, data, and process transformation opportunities.

Who you are

You have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Law, Sustainability, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in P&C data, governance, and operating models, with a strong command of compliance and external reporting requirements.

• Proven leadership experience in complex, global organizations, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

• Strong strategic and systems-thinking capability, with a track record of designing and scaling cross-functional programs.

• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear business implications.

• High level of rigor in documentation, controls, and audit readiness.

Preferred Experience

Deep experience in sustainability/ESG reporting, with strong familiarity with CSRD and the EU Green Deal.

Experience engaging with regulators, auditors, or external reporting bodies.

Background in leading enterprise transformation initiatives across data, reporting, or governance domains.
