The Control Assurance Lead plays a critical role in strengthening our control environment by independently assessing the design and effectiveness of internal controls. This role ensures risks are proactively managed, regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX/ICFR) are met, and continuous improvement is embedded across processes through data-driven insights and innovation.</p><p></p><div></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end testing of internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX/ICFR and internal control frameworks.</li><li>Design and execute risk-based testing plans, including walkthroughs, sampling, and evaluation of evidence.</li><li>Identify and assess control deficiencies, clearly articulating risk exposure and business impact.</li><li>Perform root cause analysis and partner with stakeholders to implement sustainable corrective actions.</li><li>Track and validate remediation activities, including re-testing to confirm effectiveness.</li><li>Drive innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging digital solutions and emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI).</li></ul><div></div><div></div><p><b>Qualifications & Experience</b></p><ul><li>8 years of experience in internal audit, controls assurance, or risk management.</li><li>Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent).</li><li>Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Strong understanding of SOX, ICFR, and internal control frameworks.</li><li>Experience in complex, multinational environments with strong analytical capabilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.</li></ul><p><br />Preferred Qualification<br />If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus<br />- Familiarity with controls automation, continuous control monitoring or reconciliation tools such as BlackLine.<br />- Knowledge of responsible AI practices or experience assessing risks for AI-enabled finance solutions.<br />- Understanding of financial reporting frameworks (IFRS or local GAAP) and regulatory compliance.<br />- Experience collaborating with external testing providers, assurance partners or shared services hubs.<br /><br />How to apply<br />We want to hear from you.
