That is what drives us.</b></p><p></p><p><br />This role sits within Commercial &amp; Corporate Services in Global Procurement’s Indirect Delivery group, which supports core procurement activities such as category management, strategic and operational sourcing, supplier management, and contracting.</p><p></p><p>As a Contracts Manager, you will bring strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, along with a solid understanding of applicable laws, policies, and regulations. You will support stakeholders in developing and negotiating agreements that enable business objectives while effectively managing business, legal, and compliance risks.</p><p></p><p>Working closely with procurement and business partners, you will provide guidance and support on mid-complex contract drafting and negotiations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Privacy, Tax, Drug Safety, Regulatory, and Insurance to ensure contracts align with legal requirements, Roche policies, and business needs. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of contracting practices, tools, and processes.<br /> </p><p></p><p><b>The Opportunity:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Act as a contracting subject matter expert within Commercial &amp; Corporate Services, advising on complex contracting matters that require expertise beyond standard templates and playbooks</p></li><li><p>Draft and negotiate complex commercial and service agreements, applying functional, technical, and operational expertise to develop robust contractual provisions that support business objectives</p></li><li><p>Identify and manage contractual risks while ensuring alignment with Roche policies and applicable regulations</p></li><li><p>Partner with Procurement Delivery professionals and business stakeholders to deliver efficient and compliant contracting solutions</p></li><li><p>Promote contract best practices and contribute to the development and improvement of contracting tools, templates, and processes</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>Who You Are:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>University degree, preferably in law, or equivalent experience</p></li><li><p>5&#43; years of relevant professional experience with a law degree, or 7&#43; years without. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred<br />Experience supporting contracting activities in global organizations and navigating varying legal and regulatory requirements</p></li><li><p>Legal and compliance subject matter expertise with experience operating under significant delegated authority and advising on complex matters</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external partners at all levels of the organization</p></li><li><p>Collaborative professional who demonstrates sound judgment and a commitment to continuous improvement.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.</p><p></p>The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 115,328.00 and 151,368.00 of hiring range.
