The role focuses on financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and operational planning to ensure accurate financial records and smooth business operations.</h1><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Your day at Ferring</b></h1><h1></h1><p></p><h1><b>Financial Accounting &amp; Maintenance</b></h1><ul><li><h1>Manage General Ledger activities, including recording journal entries and performing checks during the month-end closing process to ensure accuracy.</h1></li><li><h1>Review and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Balance Sheet subsidiary ledgers to ensure alignment with the general ledger.</h1></li><li><h1>Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation schedules.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Period-End Closing &amp; Reporting</b></h1><ul><li><h1>Execute month-end closing activities according to the global and local finance calendar.</h1></li><li><h1>Prepare financial reports including Trial Balance, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet summaries.</h1></li><li><h1>Conduct preliminary variance analysis on expenses against budget during month-end close.</h1></li><li><h1>Review Accounts Payable payment schedules and ensure accurate HSBC bank upload for payment runs.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Internal Controls &amp; Compliance</b></h1><ul><li><h1>Adhere to Internal Control Systems (ICS) and maintain strict Segregation of Duties (SoD) to mitigate financial risks.</h1></li><li><h1>Support preparation of monthly tax returns and ensure documentation is audit-ready for regulatory compliance.</h1></li><li><h1>Prepare and process statutory remittances such as SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth.</h1></li><li><h1>Assist in audit coordination by providing schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Supply Chain Operations &amp; Planning</b></h1><ul><li><h1>Prepare and maintain files for monthly Sales &amp; Operations Planning (S&amp;OP) meetings, including analysis of demand, supply, and inventory trends.</h1></li><li><h1>Coordinate closely with the regional distribution hub to ensure timely shipment and delivery.</h1></li><li><h1>Analyze supply chain performance and support initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service levels.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Inventory Management</b></h1><ul><li><h1>Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.</h1></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Order &amp; Risk Management</b></h1><ul><li><h1><span>Monitor open orders and proactively propose mitigation actions to minimize potential supply disruptions or business interruptions</span></h1></li><li><h1>Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve delivery or supply issues efficiently.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Regulatory &amp; Cross-Functional Coordination</b></h1><ul><li><h1>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inbound shipments comply with regulatory and compliance requirements.</h1></li><li><h1>Support coordination across supply chain, regulatory, and logistics teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Behind our innovation…There’s you</b></h1><ul><li><h1>6-month contract role from April to September 2026.</h1></li><li><h1>Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.</h1></li><li><h1>3–5 years of experience in General Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Record-to-Report (R2R) functions.</h1></li><li><h1>Proficiency in computerized accounting systems.</h1></li><li><h1>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis).</h1></li><li><h1>Ability to provide clear, concise, and professional updates.</h1></li><li><h1>Strong ownership mindset in maintaining accurate financial records.</h1></li><li><h1>Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and determine root causes.</h1></li></ul><h1></h1><p></p><p></p><h1>Making a difference in the life of millions of people means we succeed by working together.
