About the job

Consumer Experience (CX) Senior designer/design lead, will partake and drive to realize the vision and responsibility of providing the world-class user experiences and leading product design delivery globally for Sanofi products and ecosystem. You will partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop amazing user experiences. In this role, you will play a key strategic role in helping drive the future of Sanofi CX. You will collaborate with CX strategy & research, product, and engineering partners across the organization to build consumer- focused design solutions at scale while cultivating a culture of user-centric design. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be able to lead projects forward in the face of ambiguity. Top notch Product Design skills/capabilities, Human-Centered Design process and methodology a MUST.

Core responsibilities

 •           Onboard Hyderabad-based designers into Sanofi Digital Accelerator design practices and standards. Ensure designers follow the defined design process and documentation standards

 

•           Ensure consistent use and understanding of the Design System (tokens, components, variants, layouts) among Hyderabad designers

 

•           Act as a reference person for layout philosophy and UI patterns for teams working from Hyderabad

 

•           Translate design intent into clear implementation guidance for Hyderabad developers

 

•           Review design files produced for Hyderabad projects before handoff to ensure they are implementation-ready

 

•           Support Hyderabad developers in understanding how designs should be built (spacing, tokens, variants, behaviors)

 

•           Participate in product ideation workshops in Paris/U.S. and ensure outcomes are translated into executable design artifacts for Hyderabad teams

 

•           Maintain coherence between multiple Hyderabad projects and teams working in parallel

 

•           Act as quality control for design execution before development starts in Hyderabad

 

•           Work closely with Design Leads in Paris and U.S.

Qualifications:

Strong UX foundation

•       Comfortable with user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns

•       Able to understand why layouts and components are structured in a certain way

•       Able to explain UX decisions clearly to Hyderabad designers and developers

Strong UI and Design System Mastery
•       Deep experience working with design systems

•       Comfortable creating, using, and maintaining components and variants

Strong understanding of spacing, grids, typography, tokens, and layout logic
•       Able to detect inconsistencies quickly in the work of Hyderabad designers

•       Strong understanding of front-end development (critical)

•       Understands how designs translate into HTML/CSS/React (or similar)

•       Familiar with concepts like components, props, states, responsive behaviour

•       Able to speak the language of developers

•       Able to anticipate implementation issues before handoff

Coaching and onboarding ability
•       Able to teach junior Hyderabad designers how to work properly

•       Able to enforce standards constructively

•       Comfortable reviewing and correcting others’ work

Workshop facilitation

•       Comfortable facilitating ideation and alignment workshops

•       Able to transform workshop outputs into structured design artifacts for Hyderabad execution

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Design, HCI or related field. Master’s degree in relevant field a plus

● 4+ years of experience creating strategy and designing products.

● Dynamic design portfolio that shows your design process, and shipped products is a must

● Demonstrated holistic and systems thinking approach to problem solving

● Experience with iterative design sprints and lean, Agile development process

● Solid Product Design skills and Human-Centered design methods in practice that meet user needs and business goals

● Demonstrated ability to navigate complex problems in developing holistic solutions for product and its UX ecosystems

● Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe creative suite and other design tools

● Knowledge and experience with Design System(s) and all various platforms human interface guidelines: iOS, Android, LMS and connected platforms

● Ability to manage multiple projects and ability to prioritize and organize to meet tasks and deadlines

● Experience sketching, concept creation and wireframing, producing IA, sitemaps and user flows, with tap able/clickable rapid design prototypes, and visual/brand design

● Understanding of web technologies such HTML, CSS and JavaScript

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.

- Familiarity with pharma/health technology is a plus.
