MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Software developer / Engineer role creates, maintains and debugs C# application code, API interfaces and database functions. The primary function of this role is the development of applications that process, ingest and transform data as well as to create/maintain user interfaces.

Responsibilities
- Develop interfaces, applications and other technical solutions
- Creation and modification C# software source code, SQL scripts, and procedures.
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines and juggle priorities as needed.
- Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
- Design and implement various database queries, stored procedures, etc.
- Support implementation, enhancement, and modifications to test cases, procedures, scripts, and code.
- Contribute to and support gathering, analyzing, and validating requirements.
- Working from requirement specifications, develop, maintain, and update detailed design and interface specifications.
- Contribute to and support root-cause analysis of failures.
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Identify and routinely use the most effective, cost-efficient, and best practice to execute processes; continually evaluate their effectiveness and appropriateness, and promote the process of continuous quality improvement and risk management.
Experience and Skills
- Total combined experience: 3+ years. Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline)
- 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Visual Studio (C#/VB.NET)
- 3+ years’ experience in database development (SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Microservices
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
- Proficient with Microsoft PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to Debug and isolate software problems.
- Experience ASP.NET / Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Source Control Software)
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
