Cloud Financial Analyst (Intern)

The ideal candidate will support our FinOps team in providing cloud cost insights to stakeholders and assisting with various FinOps operational activities. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a foundational understanding of cloud financial management. The ideal candidate should have a background in either IT with finance knowledge or Finance/Accounting with IT knowledge, or a strong interest in learning about IT.</span></span></p><p></p><ul><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Provide stakeholders with detailed insights to help them understand and manage cloud spend.</span></span></p></li><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Perform cloud cost reporting and reconciliation for accurate cost allocation and expense tracking.</span></span></p></li><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Create and maintain PowerBI dashboard to present cloud cost data clearly.</span></span></p></li><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Assist in the launch and adoption of FinOps product/features, ensuring that users are well-informed and able to utilise new functionalities effectively.</span></span></p></li><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Provide consultation to users on strategies to optimize cloud costs and identify savings opportunities.</span></span></p></li><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Assist users in retrieving and using insights from cloud financial tools effectively.</span></span></p></li><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Support FinOps operational activities, including access provisioning and control, to ensure efficient cloud operations.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Develop simple automation (scripts, scheduled jobs, alerts) to streamline reporting and processes.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Contribute to technical documentation and support testing and validation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style="color:#494949"><b><span style="font-size:14px">Requirements</span></b></span></p><ul><li style="color:#2f2f2f !important"><p><span style="color:#494949"><span style="font-size:14px">Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
