This will be home-based position.</p><p></p><p>This role will be responsible for performing medical coding activities for clinical studies, providing support to various departments (e.g. Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance) as needed, and contributing to the development and implementation of departmental medical coding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work practices.</p><p></p><p>Previous experience in a similar role is essential.</p><p></p><p>Working as a Clinical Coder at Parexel FSP offers tremendous long-term job security and prospects. And we have an incredible pipeline of work.</p><p></p><p>Expect exciting professional challenges in inspiring studies, but with time for your outside life.</p><p></p><p><i>Base Pay Range for Poland: PLN 141,500 to 199,100.</i></p><p><i>Actual salaries may vary within the range based on several factors including, but not limited to education, training, experience, professional achievement, and location.</i></p><p><i>In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for participation in Parexel’s annual performance-based bonus plan, annual salary review and total rewards incentives.</i></p><p><i>Our talent acquisition team will provide additional details on our bonus plan or incentive programs for those eligible roles.</i></p><p></p><p><b><u>Responsibilities</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Responsible for coding assigned clinical trials.</p></li><li><p>Coding medical review - Responsible for review of coded data for coding consistency, accuracy, and compliance with coding guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Prepares and forwards coding reports for medical review.</p></li><li><p>Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely medical coding that aligns with project goals and regulatory requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Here are a few requirements specific to this advertised role.</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology or related scientific fields.</p></li><li><p>At least 2 years of experience in a clinical coding role.</p></li><li><p>Firm knowledge and understanding of clinical data coding methodologies as well as current and emerging global regulatory and data management standards.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of research and development, clinical trials execution, and understanding of regulatory requirements/guidelines (e.g. ICH GCP, safety reporting).</p></li><li><p>Sound knowledge of major coding dictionaries (e.g. MedDRA, WHODrug).</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret and apply coding guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Must be disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and work efficiently and independently.</p></li><li><p>Excellent time management and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a team environment.</p></li><li><p>Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We care about our people and your passion, as they are the key to our success, and provide an open and friendly work environment where we empower people and provide them with opportunities to develop their long-term careers.
