Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.</span></span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><i><b>Please Note: You must live in Tennessee or the nearby region (Knoxville, Memphis, Nashville) for this position. </b></i></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li><p>Work with the Clinical Account Executive CAE on plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate and coordinate with all sales positions (VP, Sales, RSD’s, DSM’s, SAM’s, and GL’s) to ensure successful attainment of company goals and objectives</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities with existing customers on the use of Tempus algorithmic tests and add ons. These will include but not limited to HRD, TO, DPYD, UGT1A1, PURist</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Clinical Account Executives on upsell opportunities for various products</p></li><li><p>Drive customer adoption of online ordering through the Tempus Hub and EMR integrations</p></li><li><p>Identify and develop partnering opportunities between prospective oncology clients and Tempus.</p></li><li><p>Promote and drive compliance with new web-based molecular information tools for all clients.</p></li><li><p>Continually analyze competitive landscape and environment within assigned accounts to determine trends and provide customer feedback to Tempus leadership</p></li><li><p>Monitor performance of sales to ensure objectives are met</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory that will be inclusive of budgets, travel, territory management, goal setting, etc.</p></li><li><p>Embrace, embody and represent the Tempus company culture at all times to external and internal constituents.</p></li><li><p>Building and maintaining relationships with physicians and office staff to drive clinical orders in the community</p></li><li><p>Building and maintaining relationships with pathology departments to ensure smooth specimen sendouts - tissue procurement</p></li><li><p>Maintain a regular cadence of touch points (in person, emailing value adds) with certain targeted accounts (ie 3 x month per physician)</p></li><li><p>Coordinating Medical Affairs report review with physicians after clinical orders</p></li><li><p>Order Kit and literature replenishment at accounts</p></li><li><p>Identifying and attending approved local conferences</p></li><li><p>Working with accounts to obtain necessary clinical data / progress notes for Tempus-tested patients</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrate the capacity to quickly learn relevant genomic and oncology information</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks while managing critical deadlines</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain an outstanding level of market, customer, and product knowledge necessary to support sales objectives</p></li><li><p>Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with healthcare professionals</p></li><li><p>Possess a very positive attitude and an understanding of the dynamics involved with organizational growth and change</p></li><li><p>Strong administrative skills and sophistication to manage business in complex environments</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate Tempus’ Values by acting with integrity, respect and trust</p></li><li><p>Travel throughout the territory as needed</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education & Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>B.S. in biology, life science, business or marketing</p></li><li><p>1+ years of applicable experience industry</p></li><li><p>Bonus:</p><ul><li><p>Sales support experience in healthcare (preferably oncology or pathology) with a history of proven past performance, meeting or exceeding expectations </p></li><li><p>OR general clinical experience</p></li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-REMOTE</p><p>#LI-NK1</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">We are an equal opportunity employer.
