The role leads China NPP strategy across key solid tumour disease areas and plays a critical role in influencing global development priorities, lifecycle strategy, and portfolio investment decisions.</p><h2></h2><h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2><h3>1. <b>China Solid Tumours Pipeline &amp; Portfolio Strategy</b></h3><ul><li><p>Own and drive the <b>China Solid Tumours NPP strategy</b>, spanning early to late‑stage assets and indications.</p></li><li><p>Define <b>China‑specific strategic imperatives</b>, disease area priorities, and portfolio sequencing aligned to unmet medical need and commercial opportunity.</p></li><li><p>Lead <b>pipeline sufficiency and portfolio gap analysis</b> versus current and future competitive landscapes in China.</p></li><li><p>Develop and articulate <b>clear China value narratives</b> for pipeline assets to support governance, prioritization, and investment decisions.</p></li></ul><h3>2. <b>Early Asset &amp; Indication Shaping</b></h3><ul><li><p>Influence <b>Target Product Profiles (TPPs)</b>, indication sequencing, and clinical development strategies to optimize China relevance.</p></li><li><p>Partner closely with <b>China Compound Team (CCT), APSO DAS lead, and Medical Affairs</b> to ensure early integration of commercial insights.</p></li><li><p>Provide strategic input at key global development milestones (pre‑IND, Phase I–III, lifecycle extensions).</p></li><li><p>Identify <b>China‑specific opportunities</b> including biomarkers, precision medicine strategies, combination approaches, and novel access models.</p></li></ul><h3>3. <b>Pre‑Launch &amp; Launch Excellence Readiness</b></h3><ul><li><p>Lead China <b>pre‑launch strategic planning</b> for priority solid tumour assets, ensuring seamless transition from NPP to inline teams.</p></li><li><p>Define <b>future launch archetypes</b>, success metrics, and critical enablers (diagnostics, patient pathways, ecosystem readiness).</p></li><li><p>Ensure early alignment across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and Operations on launch ambition and execution model.</p></li></ul><h3>4. <b>Cross‑Functional &amp; Global Leadership</b></h3><ul><li><p>Act as the <b>China strategic interface</b> to global and regional Solid Tumours teams.</p></li><li><p>Lead and influence complex, matrixed cross‑functional teams without direct authority.</p></li><li><p>Partner with <b>Business Development</b> to assess external opportunities, collaborations, and pipeline expansion options relevant to China.</p></li><li><p>Represent China perspectives in global governance forums, ensuring China’s voice is clearly articulated and influential.</p></li></ul><h3>5. <b>Strategic Planning &amp; Governance</b></h3><ul><li><p>Drive China Solid Tumours <b>long‑range strategic planning (LRFP, BP)</b> from a pipeline and portfolio perspective.</p></li><li><p>Support senior leadership with <b>high‑quality strategic insights, scenario planning, and decision frameworks</b>.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all activities are compliant with internal governance, ethics, and regulatory requirements.</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Key Stakeholders</b></h2><ul><li><p>AP Solid Tumours DAS &amp; Strategic Insights</p></li></ul><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></h2><h3>Required</h3><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree required; <b>MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD strongly preferred</b></p></li><li><p>Extensive experience in <b>oncology strategic marketing, NPP, portfolio strategy, or commercial strategy</b></p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of <b>China oncology market dynamics</b>, including policy, access, and competitive environment</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to influence <b>global development and lifecycle strategy</b> without direct reporting lines</p></li><li><p>Experience across <b>early and late‑stage pipeline assets</b></p></li></ul><h3>Preferred</h3><ul><li><p>Solid tumour therapeutic area expertise (e.g., lung, GU, GI, bladder, CRC, breast, head &amp;
