The Marmon Group LLC
As a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings—which is backed by Berkshire Hathaway—you’ll be doing things that matter, leading at every level, and winning a better way. We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best.
Marmon Holdings, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a global industrial organization with over 30,000 employees. It operates eleven business groups comprising 120+ independent manufacturing, leasing, and service businesses, with combined annual revenues exceeding $14 billion.
The Chief Information Officer is Marmon's senior technology executive, accountable for all aspects of information technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity across the enterprise. The role sets technology strategy and leads a global organization of approximately 450 people spanning infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity and AI.
Marmon operates a decentralized, federated IT model: each business group has its own IT leader with a dotted-line relationship with this role. The role also serves as Marmon's primary IT and cybersecurity liaison to Berkshire Hathaway and manages all enterprise IT vendor relationships. This role is located in the Chicago area with hybrid office presence at Marmon’s offices downtown and approximately 25-30% travel to Marmon’s business locations globally.
