About the role:The role is in the global Engineering department part of the operation sector located in Nethanya site.The position represents Change analyst & Documentation Configuration control focal point, with NPI capabilities.We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Change analyst & Documentation Configuration control engineer to maintain the PLC of all products families under the engineering responsibility, using & expert with the PLM & ERP systems.The position perfect for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy with extensive communication interfaces, departments and functions in the company such as engineering, regulatory, logistic, procurement, quality, production (inhouse & CMOs), import & export, Legal, information systems, sub-contractors, RnD, project managers. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintaining PLM & ERP system<ul><li>Establish and enforce best practices for BOM & revisions management</li><li>Support systems validation, upgrades, improvements and users.</li></ul></li><li>Creation & control of part numbers, BOMs, revisions, statuses, production processes, work procedures & instruction, flowcharts, workflows.</li><li>ECR, ECO (CCB), MCO, EOL management till full implementation<ul><li>Autonomy ability leading those process that required NPI capabilities, and hands-on activity</li></ul></li><li>Perform as CMOs, vendors & company stakeholders’ focal point for engineering data transfer, updates and documentation control.</li><li>Own and maintain the end-to-end configuration control process across all product lines.</li><li>Ensure product data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the entire lifecycle.<ul><li>Part of approval chain</li></ul></li><li>Integrated process support with operation – logistic, procurement, production, quality.</li></ul> Qualifications and Experience/ Required Knowledge & Skills<ul><li>B.Sc. in Industrial Engineer / Electronics Engineer is a must.</li><li>At least 5 years of relevant experience in the engineering department at NPI activities and controlling multidisciplinary products through the PLC, and common NPI & engineering processes.</li><li>Vast experience with PLM systems – Mandatory (Siemens Team Center an advantage).</li><li>Strong understanding of product configuration, engineering change processes, instruction, and lifecycle management.</li><li>Excellent communication & in person skills and ability to work across multiple disciplines.</li><li>High sense to details, ownership & accuracy.</li><li>Deep understanding of operational & supply chain processes - manufacturing operations, planning, sourcing, contract manufacturers / OEM, supplier, quality.</li><li>High Excel capabilities</li><li>Fluent English & Hebrew (read, write, speak) is a must</li></ul>Ability to verbally share knowledge and conduct meeting & trainings (online & F2F)Required Skills: Adaptability, Adaptability, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation Testing, Communication, Contract Management, Creativity, Detailed Design, Disease Prevention, Engineering Processes, Global Engineering, GxP Validation, Hebrew Language, Information Systems, Infrastructure Project Management, Knowledge Sharing, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Processes, New Product Development, People Management, Personal Initiative, Procurement, Product Configuration, Production Facilities, Production Processes {+ 5 more}Preferred Skills: Current Employees apply <a target="_blank" href="https://wd5.myworkday.com/msd/d/task/1422$6687.htmld">HERE</a>Current Contingent Workers apply <a target="_blank" href="https://wd5.myworkday.com/msd/d/task/1422$4020.htmld">HERE</a>Search Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
