The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As the CAPA Project Coordinator you will manage the continuous improvement projects related to the Corrective/Preventive Action process.
What You’ll Work On
• Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools
such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks
necessary to complete project.
• Execute projects by creating tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and
developing and executing contingency plans.
• Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by
participating in departmental and internal customer project status update meetings.
• Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others
as appropriate.
• Participates in external project management organizations, conferences and seminars
to keep current with industry best practices in project management by joining
professional associations and implementing a professional development plan with
focus on project management.
• Cultivates a wide range of internal networks and begins to develop an extensive
external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks.
• May lead a project team of moderate scope.
• Influence exerted at peer level and occasionally at first levels of management.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established
schedule.

The base pay for this position is
$81,500.00 – $141,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
