The Opportunity
Under direct supervision from Facilities Engineer/Supervisor, performs a variety of maintenance activities and assignments which include corrective and preventive maintenance at the campus. These tasks are directly related to the business and engineering Facilities department strategies on short and long term.
In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives
What You’ll Do
Equipment calibrations
Documentation
Repair
Administrative
Technical Assistance
Required Qualifications
High School degree, Technical degree required: Eelectricity, mechanics, Chemistry, electronics, industrial engineering, electromechanical or other related technical fields.
6 months experience in manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
Intermediate Commands of English / Required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in calibration and test methods on equipment and instrument calibration.
Prior medical device experience.
Training in Calibration (courses).
Knowledge of ISO 17025.
