If you are excited about a role but don&#39;t meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p></p><p>To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to incorporate a Direct Buyer located in <b>Guadalajara, North Campus</b>.<br />Reporting to the <b>Purchasing Manager Direct, </b>the <b>Direct Buyer</b> position is responsible for coordinating activities related to the acquisition of direct materials, components, and equipment.</p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Reviews requisitions and MRP output.</li><li>Communicates with suppliers to obtain information about products or services, such as prices, availability, and delivery times.</li><li>Determines the acquisition method, such as direct purchase.</li><li>Places orders, reschedules, and cancels material based on requests and planning results.</li><li>Manages supplier compliance with price, delivery, and quality expectations and escalates cases when necessary.</li><li>Approves invoices for payment.</li><li>Expedites the delivery of goods to users.</li><li>Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares accountability reports for surplus and obsolete management.</li><li>Interacts with suppliers and customers to ensure both delivery and the best market price.</li><li>Makes tactical purchasing decisions.
