Objective
GSK México is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Unit Director for Immunology. This senior leadership role will define and execute the strategic direction, commercial growth and operational excellence of the Immunology portfolio in México. The successful candidate will combine deep Immunology market knowledge, strong P&L responsibility, and proven ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams to deliver patient-centric impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the long‑term commercial strategy for the Immunology business in México aligned with GSK global and regional objectives. Identify market trends and unmet needs to shape portfolio strategy and lifecycle planning. Lead end-to-end launch and life‑cycle management.
Portfolio & Patient Focus: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders: KOLs, hospital leads, payer/HTA contacts, patient groups and relevant government authorities. Design and implement access strategies (pricing, reimbursement dossiers, HTA submissions, payer engagement) to secure and expand patient access.
Team Leadership: Recruit, coach and develop local talent; set clear KPIs and foster a culture of accountability, patient focus and ethical behavior. Build and lead a high‑performing cross‑functional team (marketing, sales, medical, market access, regulatory, legal, supply) to execute the brand plan. Foster inclusion, development, accountability and an entrepreneurial culture.
Commercial & Financial Management: Own the Business Unit P&L; set and deliver revenue, margin and budget targets. Translate insights into commercial execution plans (launch readiness, field force strategy, digital engagement).
Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all activities adhere to GSK’s ethical standards, local regulations and industry codes; promote patient safety and integrity in all interactions.
Why YOU?
Basic Qualifications
Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Medicine or related field.
Wide experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including solid recent experience in a Business Unit Head / Franchise Head or equivalent senior leadership role.
Demonstrated commercial leadership within Specialty Care areas, including Immunology (rheumatology, dermatology, GI immunology or closely related therapeutic areas), with experience across biologics and/or advanced therapies.
Proven P&L ownership and strong financial acumen and prior success leading launches and lifecycle management for biologics or complex therapies. Track record collaborating with global and regional teams.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Skills: strategic thinker, strong analytical capability, excellent communicator and influencer, proven ability to lead and inspire cross‑functional teams, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to perform in a complex, dynamic market.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Direct experience with indications such as rheumatoid arthritis, severe asthma, psoriasis, Crohn’s disease/ulcerative colitis or atopic dermatitis.
