The role focuses on bringing together business needs from development, clinical and commercial manufacturing, QC and specifications teams into a clear product vision and backlog, and on delivering features that make it easier to define, maintain and reuse digital recipes and associated data.
The Business System analyst works closely with business users and tech teams across the enterprise to shape feature sets (including emerging AI capabilities) through to delivery, maintain recipe and method libraries in adherence to agreed principles (such as ISA-88), and ensure that digital products are simple to use and can be trusted as a single source of truth across sites and programmers. The digital product profile serves as a single source of truth for users to lifecycle-manage product and process knowledge using the relevant control libraries in PDLM and also enables this data to be accessed or transformed by downstream systems that support batch execution and digital submissions (such as DCS, MES, LES, ERP and regulatory information management systems).
