<p>This individual will leverage advanced analytics and data science techniques to support the Commercial Sales organization through actionable insights, predictive modeling, and data-driven strategies. The role is critical in enabling evidence-based decision-making, optimizing prospecting efforts, and driving commercial growth through sophisticated data analysis.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Advanced Data Mining & Prospecting:</b><br />Utilize prospecting tools (e.g., Informa Suite, Zymewire, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) and apply data science techniques to identify high-value prospects and optimize territory planning.</p></li><li><p><b>Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics:</b><br />Develop and implement predictive models to inform strategic decisions and prioritize sales efforts.</p></li><li><p><b>Data Integration & Automation:</b><br />Design and maintain automated data pipelines to consolidate information from CRM systems (SFDC), prospecting tools, and internal databases for real-time reporting.</p></li><li><p><b>Visualization & Storytelling:</b><br />Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce CRM Analytics, or Spotfire to communicate insights effectively to senior leadership.</p></li><li><p><b>Sales Performance Analysis:</b><br />Conduct deep-dive analyses on sales trends, pipeline health, and conversion metrics to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.</p></li><li><p><b>Cross-functional Collaboration:</b><br />Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.</p></li><li><p><b>Continuous Improvement:</b><br />Stay current with emerging data science tools and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation within the Commercial organization.</p></li></ul><p><b>Critical Success Factors:</b></p><ul><li><p>Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in managing multiple projects in a matrix environment</p></li><li><p>Effective communication with senior business leadership</p></li></ul><p><b>Technical Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Advanced proficiency in <b>Python or R</b> for data analysis and modeling</p></li><li><p>Expertise in <b>SQL</b> for data extraction and transformation</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of <b>data visualization tools</b> (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and commercial analytics tools</p></li></ul><p><b>Experience Recommended:</b></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 4 years in data analytics or data science roles supporting sales or commercial functions</p></li><li><p>Proven experience building predictive models and advanced analytics solutions</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and oral communication skills</p></li><li><p>Industry knowledge preferred</p></li></ul><p><b>Education/Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Learn more about our </span><a href="https://careers.fortrea.com/us/en/eeo-and-accommodations" target="_blank">EEO & Accommodations request here</a><span>.</span></p>
