We're looking for a Business Excellence Technician to support Lean Manufacturing initiatives across our production environment. In this role, you'll help identify process improvements, implement Kaizen projects, improve workplace organization through 5S, and support productivity and efficiency improvements on the manufacturing floor.
General Purpose / What you'll do:
Responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Build and improve workstations, racks, carts, benches, and production support equipment
• Conduct workplace organization and 5S activities
• Implement process improvement projects that reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Track and maintain Continuous Improvement metrics and visual management boards
• Partner with operations teams to identify and implement best practices
Principle Accountabilities:
· Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
· Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc.
· Ensure good 5S in the work area.
· Implement identified Best practices timely.
· Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations.
What We're Looking For:
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, continuous improvement, or production support
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification
• Electronics manufacturing experience
• Experience supporting continuous improvement projects
