Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Business Excellence Lead (Metrology) located in Guadalajara North.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Business Excellence Lead (Metrology) will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering methodologies. This role will lead initiatives focused on metrology processes, quality improvement, waste elimination, process standardization, statistical analysis, and operational excellence across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate combines strong metrology and quality expertise with a passion for continuous improvement and data-driven decision making

What a typical day looks like
Act as a change agent and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
Drive waste elimination, variation reduction and process optimization.
Facilitate Kaizen events and improvement workshops.
Develop and validate process standards and best practices.
Analyze metrology test results and measurement system performance.
Lead metrology laboratory and component performance validation activities.
Apply statistical analysis and quality methodologies.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
Deliver Lean and Six Sigma training and coaching.
