Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Business Development Director – Molecular Imaging National Imaging Centers to help shape and accelerate our Molecular Imaging growth strategy across leading national and regional imaging center organizations throughout the United States.

 

In this highly visible role, you will serve as a strategic partner to key outpatient imaging organizations, developing executive-level relationships and identifying opportunities to expand access to Molecular Imaging technologies and services across PET/CT, SPECT/CT, Oncology, Theranostics, Neurology, and Cardiology.

 

You will work closely with Molecular Imaging leadership, Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners to develop account strategies, create differentiated customer value propositions, and build long-term partnerships that drive sustainable growth.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented commercial leader who understands the outpatient imaging and Molecular Imaging landscape and enjoys working at the intersection of business development, clinical innovation, and strategic customer partnerships.

 

You are responsible for:

• Developing and executing the Molecular Imaging National Imaging Center strategy across key national and regional outpatient imaging organizations.
• Accelerating growth through strategic account segmentation, differentiated value propositions, market development initiatives, and measurable business strategies.
• Partnering with Molecular Imaging Business Line leadership and Marketing to develop and execute a comprehensive National Imaging Center business plan.
• Building relationships with executive decision-makers, clinical leaders, and other key stakeholders within strategic customer organizations.
• Identifying opportunities to expand Molecular Imaging utilization across PET/CT, SPECT/CT, Oncology, Theranostics, Neurology, Cardiology, and emerging clinical applications.
• Developing customer strategies that align Siemens Healthineers solutions with clinical, operational, and financial priorities.
• Collaborating with field sales and key account teams on commercial strategies, customer proposals, system configurations, and value-added solutions.
• Driving market development initiatives associated with emerging Molecular Imaging technologies, radiopharmaceuticals, tracers, and new clinical applications.
• Monitoring customer activity, competitive developments, market trends, and other factors impacting the Molecular Imaging business.
• Tracking key business metrics, including market share, revenue, pipeline development, volume, and profitability.
• Coordinating cross-functional resources across Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance, Operations, and Business Line leadership to support successful customer engagements.
• Supporting strategic customers throughout the project lifecycle and serving as a point of contact for escalation and problem resolution.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrating a successful background in business development, strategic account management, sales, or commercial leadership within healthcare, medical imaging, or a related industry.
• Bringing a strong understanding of the Molecular Imaging and/or outpatient diagnostic imaging market.
• Building trusted relationships with executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders across complex healthcare organizations.
• Demonstrating knowledge of PET/CT, SPECT/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Theranostics, Neurology, and/or Cardiology.
• Developing and executing strategic account plans that translate customer needs and market opportunities into measurable business growth.
• Applying strong analytical skills to market intelligence, customer segmentation, pipeline development, and commercial decision-making.
• Understanding financial considerations associated with complex commercial offerings, including revenue, profitability, and margin.
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with customers, senior leadership, field sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Managing multiple complex customer initiatives and priorities across a national geography.
• Traveling approximately 50% to support strategic customers and business initiatives across the United States.

The base pay range for this position is:

$189,950 - $261,184

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
