【ポジション概要】
ライフサイエンス研究を支える最先端機器の営業として、大学・研究機関・病院・製薬企業・バイオベンチャーなど幅広いお客様に対し、ソリューション提案を行っていただきます。
担当いただくのは、フローサイトメーター、セルソーター、顕微鏡、プレートリーダー、自動核酸抽出装置、NanoDropなど、研究現場に欠かせない中大型機器群です。
近年、当事業は継続的な成長を続けており、大型機器ビジネスも拡大しています。今後も新製品の上市を予定しており、市場成長とともに営業として大きな裁量とチャレンジ機会を得られる環境です。
単なる製品販売ではなく、お客様の研究テーマやワークフロー、事業課題を深く理解し、最適なソリューションを提案する「コンサルティブ セリング（提案型営業）」を実践いただきます。
信頼されるアドバイザーとして、お客様の研究成果や事業目標の達成を支援しながら、長期的なパートナーシップを構築していただきます。

【主な業務内容】
・研究・医療分野のお客様への提案営業
大学・研究機関を中心に、病院、製薬企業、バイオベンチャー、中小企業などのお客様に対して営業活動を行います。
お客様の研究テーマ、アプリケーション、ワークフローや課題を深く理解し、最適な機器・試薬・サービスを組み合わせたソリューション提案を行います。
・大型機器・先端機器の提案
フローサイトメーター、セルソーター、顕微鏡、プレートリーダー、自動核酸抽出装置、NanoDropなどの先端機器を担当いただきます。
数百万円から数千万円規模の大型案件や研究設備導入プロジェクトを推進し、高度な提案力やプロジェクトマネジメント力を発揮いただきます。
・戦略的営業計画の策定・実行
担当エリアおよび主要顧客に対する営業戦略を立案し、売上目標達成に向けたアクションプランを実行します。
市場動向や顧客ニーズを分析し、新規案件の創出および既存顧客との取引拡大を推進します。
・主要顧客との関係構築
研究者、医師、施設責任者、購買担当者、経営層など、さまざまなステークホルダーとの関係を構築し、長期的なパートナーシップを形成します。
・代理店マネジメント
販売代理店との関係構築および協業推進も重要なミッションです。
定期訪問や製品勉強会、販売戦略の共有を通じて販売体制を強化し、市場拡大を推進します。
・社内連携によるチーム営業
試薬営業、フィールドアプリケーションサイエンティスト（FAS）、テクニカルサポート、マーケティングなどの関連部門と連携しながら案件を推進します。
マトリックス組織の中でチームワークを発揮し、お客様に最適なソリューションを提供します。
・CRMを活用した営業管理
Salesforce等のCRMツールを活用し、商談進捗や顧客情報を管理しながら営業活動を推進します。

【必須要件】
営業経験5年以上
ライフサイエンス、科学分野、ヘルスケア業界における業務経験、またはそれに準ずる経験
大卒以上（ライフサイエンス、化学、生物学、または関連科学分野の学位および修士号歓迎）
ネイティブレベルの日本語
顧客のアプリケーションやワークフローを理解できる技術的知識
優れたコミュニケーション能力、プレゼンテーション能力、交渉力
CRM（Salesforce等）およびMicrosoft Officeの使用経験
分析力および営業戦略立案能力
売上目標達成の実績
普通自動車運転免許（実際に運転可能な方）

【Position Summary】
As an Account Manager III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be responsible for driving growth and building long-term customer relationships within the Life Sciences market. You will work with a diverse customer base including universities, research institutes, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology startups, and industrial research organizations.
This role focuses on the sales of advanced life sciences instrumentation, including flow cytometers, cell sorters, imaging systems, microplate readers, automated nucleic acid extraction systems, NanoDrop spectrophotometers, and other research-critical instruments.
Our Life Sciences Instrument business continues to experience strong growth, supported by an expanding portfolio of innovative products and upcoming new product launches. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in a rapidly growing market while developing expertise in high-value, consultative sales.
Beyond product sales, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their research objectives, scientific workflows, and operational challenges, and by delivering tailored solutions that help accelerate scientific discovery and innovation.

【Territory】
The position will be based in either Tokyo or Nagoya and will cover the following territories:
Nagoya
Saitama
Sendai
Surrounding regions
Travel throughout the assigned territory is required (approximately 50–75%).
Regular visits to the Tokyo headquarters will also be required.
【Key Responsibilities】
Consultative Sales to Research and Healthcare Customers
Develop and maintain relationships with universities, research institutes, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and other scientific organizations.
Understand customers’ research goals, applications, workflows, and challenges, and provide tailored solutions utilizing Thermo Fisher’s portfolio of instruments, consumables, and services.
Advanced Instrument Sales
Lead sales activities for sophisticated life sciences instruments, including flow cytometers, cell sorters, imaging systems, microplate readers, automated nucleic acid extraction platforms, NanoDrop spectrophotometers, and related technologies.
Manage complex sales opportunities ranging from several million to tens of millions of yen, often involving multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and long sales cycles.
Strategic Territory Planning
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory growth objectives and revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
Key Account Management
Build strong relationships with principal investigators, laboratory managers, clinicians, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
Establish yourself as a trusted partner who helps customers achieve their scientific and business objectives.
Distributor Management
Develop and maintain productive relationships with channel partners and distributors.
Conduct regular joint customer visits, product training sessions, and business reviews to strengthen sales capabilities and market penetration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with field application scientists, technical support teams, marketing, service, and other commercial colleagues to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
Operate effectively within a matrix organization to drive customer success and business growth.
CRM and Pipeline Management
Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to manage opportunities, forecast sales, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate business records.

【Qualifications】
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline
Minimum 5 years of sales experience
Experience in life sciences, scientific, healthcare, laboratory, or related industries
Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to understand customer applications, workflows, and scientific challenges
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
【Preferred Qualifications】
Master's degree in a scientific discipline
Experience selling life sciences instruments, analytical instruments, medical devices, or laboratory equipment
Experience with flow cytometry, cell sorting, imaging, genomics, or related technologies
Experience managing distributors and channel partners
Experience handling large capital equipment sales opportunities
Additional language skills are a plus
