You will help define and lead our strategy, maintain the tools, and work with business partners to ensure data protection is secure and efficient for critical systems and processes.</p><p>How will you make an impact?</p><p>· Represent the team as an SME on projects, which includes but is not limited to discovery, assessments, pricing/quoting, design, documentation, etc.</p><p>· Mentor and train team members on functional areas.</p><p>· Develop strategies for installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation for various backup technologies in a multi-site multi-vendor backup environment.</p><p>· Participate in recovery testing and auditing to ensure data can be recovered from backups.</p><p>· Participate in weekly on-call support within a “follow the sun” model, which includes weekend rotations.</p><p>· Work closely with customers and cross-teams to communicate the root cause of outages or disruptions and recommend steps to resolve issues.</p><p>· Resolve incidents and problems in accordance with set guidelines and meet operational agreements.</p><p>· Implement change requests and meet project deliverables within defined guidelines.</p><p>· Achieve and understand Service Level commitments for all open systems platform.</p><p>· Document processes and maintain a knowledge base for Data Protection.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Keys to Success:</b></p><p><b>Education</b></p><p>· A minimum of 2-4 years of higher education, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study.</p><p>Experience or Knowledge with:</p><p>· 5+ years, minimum, knowledge of data protection hardware/software (Veeam (preferred/required), knowledge of Avamar, Data Domain, Druva is a plus).</p><p>· 2-4 years of experience with Hypervisors, Windows & Linux operating systems, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred).</p><p>· Good experience with IT processes and best practices related to backup, recovery and disaster recovery.</p><p>· Experience in highly regulated environments is a plus.</p><p>· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</p><p>· Superb communication (English language) and documentation skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Benefits</b></p><p>We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
