Our products are in 100 countries globally and supporting this takes a huge effort.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you be doing?</b></p><p>Smith & Nephew is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our business across the KwaZulu-Natal region. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing a high-performing sales team, and strengthening relationships across both State and Private Hospital markets and reports into the Business Unit Director of Advanced Wound Care.</p><p><b>What will you need to be successful?</b></p><ul><li>Achieve agreed annual sales targets for the region</li><li>Lead, coach, and manage a regional sales team (direct employees and agents)</li><li>Identify and develop new business opportunities to ensure product adoption and specification</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare decision-makers</li><li>Monitor service levels and implement performance improvement initiatives</li><li>Manage regional sales forecasting, reporting, and budget adherence</li><li>Ensure effective tender management and administration</li><li>Drive implementation of regional marketing strategies</li><li>Liaise with Managed Healthcare organisations on reimbursement matters</li><li>Ensure effective WTI and consignment management, working closely with Supply Chain and Customer Service</li><li>Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, including succession planning</li><li>Attend and lead regional sales meetings, industry events, conferences, and workshop</li></ul><p><b>Successful candidates would need the following:</b></p><ul><li><span>Matric</span> <span>Qualification</span></li><li>Degree within the Faculty of Health <span>Sciences</span></li><li>At least 8 years of post-qualification sales <span>experience.</span></li><li>Of which a min of 5 years medical device/pharma sales <span>experience</span></li><li>Minimum of 3 year's Sales Management experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical <span>field.</span></li><li>Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices <span>Industry</span></li><li><span>Demonstrated</span> <span>track</span> <span>record</span> <span>of</span> <span>expertise</span> <span>and</span> <span>career</span> <span>progress,</span> <span>within</span> <span>the</span> <span>medical</span> <span>devices </span>landscape and the ability to develop strong relationships with KOL's.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>You.
