If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Automation Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.</p><p></p><p>The Sr. Automation Engineer role involves being responsible of defining, implementing and proliferating automation projects, providing consultancy as SME.</p><p></p><p><b>What a typical day looks like:</b></p><ul><li>Define, Implement, and evaluate projects that improve the manufacturability by Automation applications</li><li>Be able to create and define RFQ/SOW documents to quote with suppliers’ new integrations.</li><li>Simulate electrical and pneumatic design in specialized SW, from simple automation and custom, using standards and implement, improve through new technology WW.</li><li>Have contact with suppliers of new technologies and evaluate them to see which one is better for the required application.</li><li>Train in new technologies that are of interest for the different application areas within flex.</li><li>Take responsibility for the development or implementation of a project.</li><li>Leader in Automation Engineering</li><li>Able to quote and follow up automation integration: simple, custom or entire line for full processes.</li><li>Work effectively with leadership, Processes and engineering quality, Program management Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to prioritize requirements for growth and productivity.</li><li>Define clear requirements to achieve goals with ROI, investment cost, scalable solutions, etc.</li><li>Effectively participate in promotion activities internally and with customers to represent various industry products, solutions, and value propositions.</li><li>Special Knowledge in Mechanical design and Mechanical assy.</li><li>CAD knowledge to interpret drawing and different custom design identify risk and opportunities.</li><li>PLC programming will be a must to understand the logical sequence of customized machinery</li><li>Special ability to Assy and des-assy complex mechanical parts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The experience we’re looking to add to our team:</b></p><ul><li>BS degree in Engineering electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or similar.</li><li>Advanced English level.</li><li>Previous experience in screwing process.</li><li>Knowledge in AMR equipment.</li><li>Advance knowledge in electrical design, implementation and debugging for automation development equipment, using electrical design SW, such as: Auto Cad Electrical.</li><li>Advance knowledge in pneumatic design, implementation and debugging for automation development equipment.</li><li>Knowledge in automation-maintenance and engineering.</li><li>Evaluations, plans, internal strategies.</li><li>Statistical análisis</li><li>Six sigma tools.</li><li>GAP analysis: statistics controls.</li><li>Impacts long term projects and goals.</li><li>Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approach to critical assignments.</li><li>Experience with suppliers for automation integration solution.</li><li>Interpretation and establishment of KPI and operational metrics for automation devices.</li><li>Training in safety and ergonomics.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:</b></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Life & Medical insurance</li><li>Christmas Bonus</li><li>Food Coupons</li><li>Saving Fund.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>IS81</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2>Job Category</h2>Production Engineering<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Required Skills:</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Optional Skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><span>Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
