The Technician Production Operations G3 (swing shift) is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. This position reports to the Supervisor, Production Operations and is part of the Production Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Operate and maintain equipment when training has been completed.
Comply with cleaning procedure for equipment and machinery.
Fill, label, pack and inspect finished products as per Training plan.
General:
Ensure that all Operations are performed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations.
Comply and co-operate with any changes to processes, machinery layout, production techniques, new equipment and processes.
Maintain neat and accurate records, logs and documents as required.
The essential requirements of the job include:

Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to full shift), with reasonable accommodation considered where appropriate.
Ability to operate manual and/or automated equipment
Exposure to manufacturing environment conditions, such as noise from machinery, controlled environments (e.g. cleanroom) and use of PPE (such as gloves, safety glasses, gowns, respirators if applicable)
Working around moving machinery and automated systems
Ability to read SOPs, batch records, and specifications
Visual acuity to inspect components and detect defects
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working in a Manufacturing Operations role as part of a team using problem solving tools in a manufacturing work environment
Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.
Swing shift hours of work:
Week 1: You will work from 8.00am to 4.00pm daily, Monday through Thursday and 8.00am – 3.00pm on Friday.
Week 2: You will work from 4.00pm to 12.00am Monday through Thursday and 3.00pm -10.00pm Friday.
