The projects focus on multiple products for the Cell Therapy business. The project manager has a key leadership role not only with the technical team but across all functions and customers to achieve a successful outcome whilst using Danaher Business Tools and robust project and team management methods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and quality management systems. </div><div> </div><div>This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Project Management and is part of the Cell Therapy R&D Department located in Grens, Switzerland and will be an on-site role. </div><div> </div><div>What you will do: </div><div><ul><li>Work closely with Strategic Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to understand market and customer needs, and help define product requirements </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Enable collaborative definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimate for new product development and sustaining projects </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead cross-functional teams to effectively deliver projects on time and within budget, evaluating and managing project risks and issues, leveraging the appropriate resources within and/or outside the department </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams across different locations to proactively anticipate challenges, coordinate project timelines, and facilitate decision making </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Communicate across functional departments, and provide periodic stakeholder and steering committee communications, and escalate concerns and issues as necessary </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain organizational standards of performance, while ensuring compliance with QMS requirements, product lifecycle process, Finance, Legal, Sourcing, EHS, and other functional support processes </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Identify and share best practices of application of tools and ways of working to drive continuous improvements </li></ul></div><div>Who you are: </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, industrial, biomedical, or related discipline) and 5+ years project leadership/management experience within product development, manufacturing or research environment, preferably in the healthcare industry or other highly regulated industry </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget, while satisfying quality and performance requirements </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proficient in project management principles (e.g., planning, resource allocation, cost estimation, risk analysis, communication) and tools. Professional Project Management certification is an asset (e.g. PMI). Experience of end-to-end project management within product lifecycle process </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix organization and to collaborate with diverse and global cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience of working closely with clients and suppliers to deliver results. Demonstrated ability to work with decision makers. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
