As a key member of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Ascendis Pharma&nbsp;team, you will play a crucial role in&nbsp;leading&nbsp;the effective execution of the Global Finance project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic&nbsp;objectives.&nbsp;This is&nbsp;an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment,&nbsp;collaborating&nbsp;with cross-functional global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.&nbsp;</p><p>You&nbsp;will be joining the&nbsp;Finance Projects and Process Support&nbsp;team consisting of&nbsp;four&nbsp;colleagues, and&nbsp;report directly to&nbsp;Søren Amstrup, Senior Director &amp;&nbsp;Head of Finance Projects &amp;&nbsp;Process Support&nbsp;who is based in&nbsp;Hellerup.&nbsp;You will be&nbsp;based&nbsp;in&nbsp;Hellerup.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your key responsibilities will be:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Facilitate&nbsp;the&nbsp;execution of the global finance strategy in close collaboration with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Finance&nbsp;Leadership Team&nbsp;and cross-functional teams.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and manage a standardized Finance Project Management structure, including templates and reporting tools.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Lead and coordinate major finance projects, including biweekly project reviews, progress tracking, and resource allocation.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate finance-related tasks for global commercialization and the implementation of generic processes in new legal entities.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>To take part in onboarding, training, and supporting finance staff, including cross-departmental and global coordination.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a&nbsp;bachelor's or&nbsp;master's&nbsp;degree in business administration, or a related field.&nbsp;You have 5-10 years of&nbsp;experience in&nbsp;Project Management in the Finance area.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Furthermore,&nbsp;<strong>you have</strong>:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Previously worked in a finance organization or&nbsp;a consultancy&nbsp;company&nbsp;working&nbsp;within finance.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated&nbsp;project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with process optimization and implementation of best practices in finance operations.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of finance systems, preferably with experience&nbsp;within finance applications&nbsp;like&nbsp;D365,&nbsp;Power Bi&nbsp;or cognos.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data quality and process improvement.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key competencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>You are&nbsp;a strong team&nbsp;player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.
