Position Summary

Lead PDS’s strategic intelligence and insights capability, advancing the organization from passive information collection to proactive, actionable intelligence. This role scans the internal and external environment for strategic signals, synthesizes information across PDS operating units and enterprise partners, and translates emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and interdependencies into clear business implications. By engaging a broad stakeholder network and producing executive-ready analysis, briefings, and recommendations, the role enables senior leadership to anticipate change, align on priorities, and make informed, forward-looking decisions. This is an individual contributor role reporting into the Strategic Realization and Governance pillar.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Environmental Sensing

• Monitor internal and external developments including market, geopolitical, regulatory, supply chain, and organizational signals that may affect PDS priorities, performance, and strategic objectives.

• Establish early-warning sensing mechanisms that surface emerging issues and opportunities in time to inform proactive leadership action.

Strategic Synthesis & Cross-PDS Analysis

• Synthesize information from across PDS operating units and external sources to identify patterns, interdependencies, risks, and business implications not readily visible within individual functions.

• Translate complex data, trends, and emerging signals into concise insights, scenarios, and actionable recommendations for leadership decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement & Enterprise Connectivity

• Build and sustain a broad stakeholder network across PDS, Enterprise Risk Management, enterprise functions, business partners, and the GSC triage team to enable reliable information flow and integrated perspective.

• Consolidate internal perspectives and external intelligence into a unified strategic picture that supports enterprise alignment and timely escalation.

Executive Communication & Leadership Briefings

• Develop executive-ready briefings, presentations, and decision-support materials that clearly communicate insights, implications, options, and recommended actions.

• Support and, where appropriate, directly brief leadership forums, governance reviews, and enterprise discussions, tailoring messaging and level of detail to the audience and decision need.

Strategic Risk Sensing

• Assess emerging issues for potential strategic, operational, business, or organizational impact and recommend proactive responses based on observed signals and trends.

• Partner with Enterprise Risk Management, Strategy, and governance organizations to ensure intelligence outputs are aligned with, and do not duplicate, formal risk management responsibilities.

Intelligence Products & Continuous Improvement

• Create standardized, repeatable intelligence products, reporting formats, and analytical frameworks that support recurring leadership reviews and evolving stakeholder needs.

• Refine sensing methodologies, source networks, and insight-generation processes to improve the quality, consistency, and usability of intelligence over time.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.S./B.A. in science, engineering, business, analytics, or a related field; advanced degree such as MBA or M.A. preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, corporate or business strategy, operations, supply chain, complex program management, or related strategic advisory roles.

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous information from multiple sources into clear insights, implications, and actionable recommendations.

• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and operate effectively across large, matrixed organizations.

• Strong executive communication skills, including experience developing and delivering concise, decision-oriented presentations, briefings, and written materials for senior leaders.

• Experience partnering with risk, strategy, governance, or enterprise functions on cross-functional priorities, with the judgment to distinguish intelligence support from formal risk ownership.

• Experience creating repeatable reporting processes, analytical products, or operating rhythms that improve leadership visibility, alignment, and action.

Devens - MA - US: $179,150 - $217,083 Princeton - NJ - US: $162,860 - $197,348

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, you may be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefit plans – including wellbeing support, retirement and financial protection benefits, and insurance offerings (medical, dental, vision, life and disability).

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs. Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
