<p>By clicking the “Apply” button, I understand that my employment application process with Takeda will commence and that the information I provide in my application will be processed in line with Takeda’s <a href="https://jobs.takeda.com/privacynotice" target="_blank">Privacy Notice</a> and <a href="https://www.takeda.com/terms-and-conditions/" target="_blank">Terms of Use</a>.  I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.</p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><i>Objective / Purpose: </i></b></p><ul><li><span>Responsible for line management of assigned <span>Takeda</span> Site Budgeting and Contracting (SB&amp;C) staff, as well as defining, developing, and delivery of the Site Budgeting and Contracting plan and directives in APAC.</span></li><li><span>Responsible for oversight of project deliverables of FSP</span></li><li><span>Provide guidance to staff and oversee the SB&amp;C processes in Asia including site budget setup, negotiation parameters and escalation management.</span></li><li><span>Directly support priority or highly complex projects through the SB&amp;C process. </span></li><li><span>Champion the creation and implementation of innovative processes, methodologies, data and technologies that will ensure ongoing delivery of valued SB&amp;C Services.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Accountabilities: </i></b></p><ul><li><span>Responsible for line management, mentoring, and development of assigned <span>Takeda</span> SB&amp;C staff</span></li><li><span>Partners with CRO&#39;s, Clinical Operations teams, and TAU partners to improve overall SB&amp;C metrics and implement processes</span></li><li><span>Provides guidance, oversight, and training to the SB&amp;C team delivering activities in support of Clinical Programs, including data and methodologies to drive global budget and contracting strategies, site start up planning, and modeling</span></li><li><span>Ensure consistent standards are applied to the SB&amp;C process across project portfolios and support continuous improvement activities while developing and implementing TA-aligned strategies / approaches </span></li><li><span>Drives the creation and implementation of innovative solutions to improve processes and accelerate SB&amp;C negotiations and site start up timelines</span></li><li><span>Agrees to deliverables on a country and site-level basis with the CRO and monitor adherence to these. </span></li><li><span>Promptly recognize and remediate potential delays, and escalate non-performance as needed.</span></li><li><span>Develop resourcing plan to ensure achievement of SB&amp;C tasks aligned to site start up timelines.  </span></li><li><span>Serves as point of escalation and assist in resolution of issues identified by Takeda or CRO staff during the start up process </span></li><li><span>Act as a role model for Takeda’s values </span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Education &amp; Competencies:</i></b></p><ul><li><i>BS degree or international equivalent, advanced degree preferred </i></li><li><i>Extensive experience (≥ 8 years) in clinical research site contracting and budgeting with evidence of increasing responsibility within a pharmaceutical company, CRO or relevant industry vendor.</i></li><li><i>More than 5 years of direct responsibility in site budgeting and contracting oversight and/or negotiation.</i></li><li><i>Experience in line management and working in a matrix environment</i></li><li><i>Expertise with leading edge trial optimization vendors, tools, and methods</i></li><li><i>Proficiency with software models and database structures</i></li><li><i>Expertise in principles driving SB&amp;C tasks and site start up strategies within APAC </i></li><li><i>Direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field required</i></li><li><i>Ability to strongly demonstrate, interpret, explain, represent, and drive unbiased data insights into SB&amp;C tasks globally </i></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Locations</b></h2>Singapore, Singapore<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Worker Type</b></h2>Employee<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Worker Sub-Type</b></h2>Regular<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Time Type</b></h2>Full time
