Summary:

The Associate Director, Content Operations & Delivery serves as the strategic leader for the assigned therapeutic-area portfolio, accountable for portfolio end to end marketing execution performance, operating model governance, organizational change, and content delivery excellence. The role leads a team of Sr. Managers and external partners, drives adoption of evolving commercial content, analytics capabilities and AI-enabled ways of working, and establishes governance frameworks that ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable execution across brands.

As a senior associate within the organization, these individual shapes future-state commercial content AI operations, drive cross-functional alignment, manage strategic vendor and agency relationships, and champions continuous improvement initiatives that elevate team performance, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes.

The Associate Director acts as a trusted advisor to Brand, Omnichannel Strategy, MLR, and Operations leaders while ensuring launch readiness and delivery excellence across the therapeutic area portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Change Leadership & Governance

• Lead the evolution of the therapeutic area content operating model, driving transformational initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, compliance, and business impact.
• Establish and govern portfolio-wide operating frameworks, decision rights, performance standards, and escalation pathways to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
• Champion adoption of innovative operation capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions, automation, and content reuse strategies, to accelerate organizational maturity and operational excellence.

 

Delivery Excellence & Portfolio Ownership

• Provide delivery leadership and end-to-end accountability for the assigned therapeutic area end to end content execution, ensuring delivery excellence, financial stewardship, and achievement of business objectives.
• Direct enterprise cohesive planning, prioritization, resource allocation, capacity management across launch, priority, and growth brands to optimize execution and team performance and business outcomes.
• Lead launch readiness and enterprise content delivery, ensuring seamless execution from strategy translation through deployment, optimization, and measurement.
• Drive performance through proactive risk management, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement of quality, speed, and operational effectiveness.

 

Vendor & Agency Governance

• Provide strategic oversight of agency, production, and outsourced service partnerships, ensuring alignment with portfolio priorities and enterprise objectives.
• Establish and lead vendor governance frameworks for assigned TAs, including performance management, service-level accountability, business reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
• Drive accountability for quality, compliance, innovation, delivery performance, and financial stewardship across the partner ecosystem.
• Cultivate executive-level partner relationships and optimize the vendor landscape to enhance scalability, operational agility, and business value.

 Leadership, Talent & Organization Development

• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing teams (internal & external), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Empower brand leads and cross functional teams to navigate change, strengthen business acumen, and drive excellence in strategic execution and decision-making.
• Create an inclusive and engaging environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent while advancing organizational effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience across omnichannel marketing execution management, content operations, digital strategy, or in commercial excellence functions, including delivery, people leadership and organizational management responsibilities.

• Demonstrated success leading complex TA portfolios, operating model transformation, governance frameworks, and cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes.

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while influencing senior stakeholders across matrix organizations.

• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, omnichannel engagement, product launches, and MLR review processes.

• Significant experience overseeing agency and vendor partnerships, including governance, performance management, financial stewardship, and operational excellence.

• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, AI adoption, continuous improvement, and organizational change in complex environments.

• Strong executive presence, strategic mindset, and ability to lead through ambiguity while delivering results in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

• Working knowledge of the content operating models, content taxonomy, DAM/library systems, and modular/reusable content practices.

• Experience with Adobe platforms (such as Workfront), Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM and Salesforce

• Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, and implementing creative process improvements is required.

Princeton - NJ - US: $162,690 - $197,142

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, you may be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefit plans – including wellbeing support, retirement and financial protection benefits, and insurance offerings (medical, dental, vision, life and disability).

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs. Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
