This role is crucial for transforming data into valuable insights that drive business performance, support strategic initiatives and ultimately contribute to company mission to use science to improve and save lives around the world.</p><p><b>What will you do in this role:</b></p><p><b>Delivery Management</b></p><ul><li>Responsible for <span class="emphasis"><b>delivery</b> of Data &amp; BI initiatives</span> for Procurement, HR, Compliance, Legal, Facilities, and Business Development.</li><li>Act as <b>primary point of contact</b> for business stakeholders, <span class="emphasis"><b>translating functional requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps</b>.</span></li><li>Define and manage <span class="emphasis"><b>project scope, timelines, priorities, and risks</b></span>, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.</li><li>Facilitate <b>requirements </b></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What should you have:</b></p><p><b>Functional &amp; Business Skills</b></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of process and data in at least <b>two-three</b> of the following domains, and familiarity with others:<ul><li><span class="emphasis"><b>Procurement</b> </span>(e.g., spend analytics, supplier performance, sourcing, P2P)</li><li><span class="emphasis"><b>Compliance</b> </span>(e.g., controls monitoring, audit &amp; risk reporting, policy adherence)</li><li><b>Legal</b> (e.g., contract lifecycle analytics, matter management reporting)</li><li><b>Facilities</b> (e.g., space utilization, maintenance, EHS metrics)</li><li><span class="emphasis"><b>Business Development</b></span> (e.g., pipeline analytics, deal evaluation, portfolio performance)</li></ul></li><li>Ability to <b>translate business questions into analytical problems</b> and data requirements.</li><li>Experience defining and operationalizing <b>KPIs, metrics, and dashboards</b> for senior leadership.</li></ul><p><b>Technical Skills</b></p><ul><li>Understanding of <span class="emphasis"><b>data engineering practices</b></span>, including:<ul><li>ELT/ETL design and development</li><li>Data pipelines and data infrastructure</li><li><b>Version control</b>, release management, and deployment of datasets</li></ul></li><li>Working knowledge of:<ul><li><b>SQL</b> for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning</li><li><b>Python and/or PySpark</b> for data processing and pipeline development</li><li>At least one major <b>cloud data warehouse</b> (e.g., <b>Amazon Redshift, Snowflake</b>)</li><li>Large-scale <b>data processing technologies</b> (e.g., distributed computing, high-performance computing)</li></ul></li><li><span class="emphasis">Understanding and oversight experience with <b>BI/analytics tools</b> </span>(e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar) for dashboarding and self-service analytics.</li><li>Familiarity with <b>orchestration and monitoring tools</b> (e.g., Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar).</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>data modeling techniques</b> (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas) and performance optimization.</li><li>Agile working knowledge and experience with related tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, etc.).</li></ul><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><ul><li>Excellent <span class="emphasis"><b>stakeholder management</b> and <b>communication skills</b> </span>(verbal and written), able to bridge technical and business audiences.</li><li>Strong <span class="emphasis"><b>problem-solving and analytical skills</b></span>, with a structured approach to tackling ambiguity.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to <b>influence without authority</b>, align diverse stakeholders, and manage expectations.</li><li>Track record of <b>delivering high-quality results</b> in complex, dynamic environments.</li></ul><p><b>Education</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering<b>, Information Systems, Data Sciences, Business Analytics</b> or related quantitative field.</li><li>(Nice-to-have) master’s degree or MBA with focus on Analytics / Information Systems.</li></ul><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>Typically, <b>12&#43; years</b> of experience in Data &amp; Analytics / BI roles, including:<ul><li>Significant experience in <span class="emphasis"><b>delivering end-to-end BI and data solutions</b></span>.</li><li>Demonstrated <b>techno-functional experience</b> working with at least two of the following domains: <span class="emphasis"><b>Procurement, HR, Compliance</b></span>, Legal, Facilities, <span class="emphasis"><b>Business Development </b></span>(more is preferred).</li></ul></li><li>Proven experience in <b>leading project delivery</b> or acting as a <b>Delivery Lead, Product Owner, or Engagement Lead</b> for data/BI initiatives.</li><li>Experience working in <b>matrixed, global organizations</b> and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Our technology teams operate as business partners, proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities.
