A Day in the Life

The Credit Services function supports Medtronic’s order-to-cash operations by partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to manage credit and collections activities, resolve account issues, and support healthy cash flow. The team operates within a modern shared-services environment that leverages digital workflows, data-driven decision-making, and AI-enabled tools to deliver efficient and compliant customer outcomes.

We are seeking graduates and early-career professionals with professional proficiency in Slovak and Czech language support customers across our EMEA markets.

• Manage assigned customer accounts and perform collection activities to support timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email in English and the required market language to resolve payment issues, clarify account information, and support payment arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, account activities, and collection outcomes within designated systems.
• Partner with Finance, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
• Escalate complex customer, account, or workflow issues in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Follow documented processes, controls, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and consistent service delivery.
• Utilise approved digital and AI-enabled tools to support workflow execution, information gathering, prioritisation, and customer communications.
• Contribute feedback on recurring issues, process gaps, workflow improvements, and automation opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree and no prior professional experience required.
• Fluent English and minimum C1 proficiency in Slovak and Czech with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to learn and work effectively across multiple systems, workflow technologies, and AI-enabled tools.
• Availability to work on-site in Warsaw during onboarding, training, certification, and operational readiness activities as required.

• Up to one year of experience in finance, accounting, shared services, customer service, or a related business environment.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP.
• Experience supporting customers across EMEA markets.
• Experience working with customer account management, collections, or order-to-cash processes.
• Demonstrated interest in process improvement, digital transformation, and technology-enabled service delivery.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
