<p style="text-align:left">Job Description</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Position Overview</b></p><p><b>Essential functions include but are not limited to:</b></p><p>We seek a strategic, product-minded leader to drive excellence and adoption of data and AI products across Commercial Data Ops, Commercial Data Analytics, and Advanced Data Analytics. The role owns end-to-end product management (problem framing, requirements analysis, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, delivery management, value realization) and leads cross-functional change to ensure solutions are adopted and deliver measurable business impact.</p><p></p><p><b>Core Responsibilities:</b></p><p>Product Strategy &amp; Roadmap</p><ul><li>Define vision, value, and success metrics across data/AI products; translate business needs into use cases and user stories.</li><li>Build multi-quarter roadmaps; prioritize backlog by impact, feasibility, and risk; ensure iterative delivery and value realization.</li></ul><p>Delivery Governance</p><ul><li>Manage design-to-launch delivery with stable quality.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering/platform on release, monitoring, and incident response.</li></ul><p>Change Management &amp; Adoption</p><ul><li>Execute change strategies (stakeholder mapping, communications, training, reinforcement).</li><li>Engage end users via pilots and feedback; clarify roles and decision rights; measure adoption and impact for continuous improvement.</li></ul><p>People Leadership</p><ul><li>Lead and develop a high-performing team of product managers and change managers; set goals, coach, and foster a culture of customer-centricity, professional excellence, and impact.</li><li>Build a community of practice within the COE; drive standards, templates, and best practices in data product management and change enablement.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA/advanced degree preferred.</li><li>8&#43; years in data product management or commercial data analytics; proven delivery of data/AI product with hands-on experience preferred.</li><li>Strong product skills (discovery, requirements, roadmap, backlog, iterative delivery) and solid understanding of data engineering/analytics.</li><li>Change management experience for digital/data/AI solutions; stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption measurement.</li><li>Excellent analytical problem-solving; strong collaboration and influence across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Ops, Finance, IT/Data, Legal/Compliance, leadership.</li><li>Strong written and verbal English; integrity, resilience, adaptability, and disciplined delivery under pressure.</li><li>Experience of CRM/Event would be a plus.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Success Measures:</b></p><ul><li>Adoption and user satisfaction; time-to-value and business impact; data quality and model stability; team development and COE standards adoption.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills:</b></p>Business Intelligence (BI), Commercial Analytics, Computer Science, Data Analysis, Database Design, Data Classification, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, Data Science, Data Visualization, Machine Learning (ML), Statistics, Waterfall Model<p></p><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Current Employees apply <a href="https://wd5.myworkday.com/msd/d/task/1422$6687.htmld" target="_blank">HERE</a></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Current Contingent Workers apply <a href="https://wd5.myworkday.com/msd/d/task/1422$4020.htmld" target="_blank">HERE</a></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Search Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully </b><br />Merck &amp; Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp &amp; Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
