<h2><b>Career Category</b></h2>Engineering<h2></h2><h2><b>Job Description</b></h2><div></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><u>Role Description</u> </p><p>The Principal Engineer, Asset Management, is responsible for execution of asset lifecycle management standards, processes, and practices across Engineering and Facilities. This role ensures assets are managed in a compliant, reliable, and cost-effective manner throughout their lifecycle. </p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Director, Engineering Systems, Technology &amp; Reporting, this role supports global asset and equipment management, global performance and reliability, and associated equipment strategy. </p><p></p><p><u>Roles &amp; Responsibilities</u> </p><ul><li><p>Owns execution of asset lifecycle management practices from design through retirement. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensures optimal maintenance strategies in accordance with preventive, predictive, or proactive strategies. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitors asset and equipment performance as well as network indicators (e.g. GMP non-conformance or safety event) to ensure performance criteria are met. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Leads or participates in root cause analysis efforts and manages applicable corrective and preventive actions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Defines and applies asset management standards, criticality models, and best practices. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Owns applicable documentation (Standard Operating Procedures, Engineering Standards, Guidance documents, etc.). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensures changes to asset management remain aligned with equipment-specific GMP validated foundation as well as design safety controls. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Plans end-of-life asset strategy to ensure minimal unfavorable impact to clients. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensures asset data supports inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Partners with CMMS owner, global system owners, and data teams to enable lifecycle insights and performance optimization. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Enables asset reliability, maintenance optimization, and lifecycle cost analysis. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Drives consistency and standardization of asset management practices across sites. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Solicits network best practices as well as internal and external benchmarking to ensure assets are optimally maintained and perform according to user requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strategically deploys Artificial Intelligence to improve compliant equipment performance as well as improve network-wide understanding of equipment-related design, build, operate, and retire information. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications</b> </p><ul><li><p>Comes from Workday – AIN Team to Provide </p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred/ Good to have Qualifications  </p><ul><li><p>Experience supporting assets and equipment within a highly regulated environment where appropriate maintenance and change control are critical. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience managing facility and manufacturing asset and asset maintenance programs. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience improving asset performance, reliability, and value using data and collaborating with equipment engineering subject matter experts. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles to business processes, problems, and decisions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proven experience managing multiple priorities, interdependencies, and competing demands while maintaining strong execution discipline. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics, analytics, or insights to guide decisions and continuous improvement. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong collaboration and influencing skills, including the ability to lead outcomes without direct authority. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience partnering with Technology, Operations (e.g. Manufacturing and Engineering), Quality, Compliance, and Business stakeholders in regulated environments. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical, system, or data-driven topics to diverse audiences. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated capability to support change management, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong expertise in data governance, analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI), and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience translating client needs into program-controlled business processes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional, and fast-paced global environment. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience leading global teams and partnering with enterprise Technology organizations. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience working across regions and time zones with cultural awareness and adaptability. </p></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>.
