Description

The Animal Experimentation Scientist is responsible for executing in vivo studies to support drug discovery and development programs. This role requires hands-on expertise in animal handling, experimental procedures, and data collection to ensure the reliable evaluation of drug candidates. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented research environment. Responsibilities include performing routine animal experiments, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility, documenting procedures and results, and collaborating effectively with internal departments.

Requirements

College degree or above in Zoology, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, or related fields. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in animal experimentation within pharmaceutical companies or research institutions. Proficiency in fundamental animal techniques including dosing, blood collection, and tissue sampling. Experience with animal models for immunology or neurodegenerative diseases is preferred.
