Pay Range:
Pay Range: $20.00 -$27.50
This position is eligible to receive a target annual cash bonus based on individual and company performance, in accordance with company policy.

The Advanced QC Technician will support the Consumables Manufacturing team in the swing shift to meet company goals related to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and daily production targets for cartridges.
Hours: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection and Testing:
Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, tolerances, and standards
Conduct assay testing using laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, centrifuges, test fixtures and other analytical instruments) to validate the performance and of consumable cartridges.
Maintain accuracy in test records, travelers, logs, and quality documentation.
Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately document findings, anomalies, and deviations, compiling data for product quality reports, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and risk assessments.
Assist in revising or developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to align with best practices.
Support audits by preparing and presenting quality documentation for regulatory inspections or internal reviews.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify trends in quality control data to highlight recurring issues and propose process improvements.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and process enhancements.
Train and mentor junior technicians on quality standards and inspection/assay testing techniques.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with quality management systems, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline preferred
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of quality control experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using lab equipment, inspection tools, software, and testing methodologies. Familiarity with statistical analysis and tools like JMP is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve quality issues effectively.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical documentation and liaising with multidisciplinary teams.
