Job Description

Job title:
Develops products, systems and/or solutions according to the V-model by applying engineering knowledge and established development methodologies while supporting product development activities.

Your role:
Support electronic and electrical design activities throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Develop electronic circuit designs according to system requirements.
• Participate in the design of MCU, power, sensing, motor drive, connectivity and protection circuits.
• Perform schematic development, simulation, design verification and debugging activities.
• Work closely with software engineers and other engineering disciplines during product development.
• Select and evaluate components based on technical requirements, availability and cost.
• Support PCB layout, prototype build, testing and integration activities.
• Execute verification plans, perform hardware verification test and document design verification results.
• Analyze design issues and support root cause investigations.
• Support production issue resolution and sustaining engineering activities.
• Ensure design documentation, BOMs and engineering records are maintained accurately.
• Support product quality, reliability and cost improvement activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional project teams.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay current with new technologies.
  

You're the right fit if:

• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience
  • Bachelor degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • Master degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical Skills
  • Working knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers and embedded electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of PCB design and debugging.
  • Experience in hardware verification and laboratory testing.
  • Understanding of embedded firmware/software interaction.
  • Basic understanding of EMC/EMI design considerations.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and engineering documentation requirements.
• Preferred
  • Experience in consumer electronics product development.
  • Exposure to motor drive, sensing, connectivity or battery-powered products.
  • Familiarity with FMEA and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Competencies

  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player with a quality-focused mindset.
  • Able to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Good English and Chinese communication skills.
