Accounts Receivable Associate II

<p>The Accounts Receivable Associate II is a mid-level role responsible for managing more complex AR tasks, including handling customer disputes, reconciling accounts, and assisting with collections. This position requires a deeper understanding of AR processes and contributes to improving efficiency and accuracy within the department.</p><p></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Ability to independently identify questions and seek out answers, knowing where to go of such information.</li><li>Perform all duties of Associate I with increased independence.</li><li>Process customer payments accurately to outstanding invoices and demonstrate the ability to navigating IREC for automated payment processing.</li><li>Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collection activities to minimize past-due balances. Communicate with the customer to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment arrangements.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Billing) to resolve billing or payment issues.</li><li>Support internal audits and compliance checks related to AR and purchase order processes.</li><li>Perform other related duties or projects as assigned.</li></ul> <p></p><ul><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.</li><li> 2+ year of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting preferred.</li><li>Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) a plus.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity &amp; Other Disclosures&nbsp;</strong></p><p>ATEC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other protected status in accordance with all applicable federal, state or local laws.
