Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.Responsible for one or more of the following accounting duties; performance of full purchase cycle processing, credit card reconciliation, and expense report processing.What You’ll Work On<ul><li>Process invoices for entry to ensure prompt payment of vendor invoices received by mail and email.</li><li>Process 3-way match invoices.</li><li>Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. </li><li>Enter invoices for payment, and ensure proper period is expensed for month close. </li><li>Prepare weekly payments by check, match with supporting documents and mail in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure proper filing and storage of invoices, supporting documentation and payment. </li><li>Set up and maintain vendor accounts in the ERP system; ensure proper tax documents are received, validated, and are stored properly.</li><li>Ensure the system of internal controls related to purchasing cycle, that are established in the Finance Policies and Procedures are followed.</li><li>Maintain effective relationships with business partners and suppliers.</li><li>Work with internal departments to obtain approvals.</li><li>Assist vendors and employees with inquiries about their bills, invoices, and payment. </li><li>Research, track and resolve payables issues and discrepancies.</li><li>Reconciliation and entry of multiple monthly Corporate Purchasing credit cards.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation is received for reportable covered recipients under the Sunshine Act Policy and Compliance Policy.</li><li>Ensure Sunshine Act related payments are maintained, recorded, and stored properly. </li><li>Data entry of Sunshine Act payments into database.</li><li>General assistance to Finance team, will be a variety of office tasks and will vary based on need. </li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>2 Year / Associate Degree</li><li>3+ years of related work experience</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Epicor experience is a plus.</li><li>Must be organized and detail oriented.</li><li>Experience working in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines.</li><li>Computer skills using Microsoft Office software- Strength in excel is important to succeed in role.</li><li>Self- motivated to problem solve and research discrepancies</li></ul>     The base pay for this position is $19.35 – $38.75/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. <h2>JOB FAMILY:</h2>Accounting & Reporting     <h2>DIVISION:</h2>AVD Vascular        <h2>LOCATION:</h2>United States > Minnesota > St. Paul : 1225 Old Highway 8 NW     <h2>ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:</h2>     <h2>WORK SHIFT:</h2>Standard     <h2>TRAVEL:</h2>No     <h2>MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:</h2>Not Applicable     <h2>SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:</h2>Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Keyboard use (greater or equal to 50% of the workday)     Abbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Women/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans.
